Wander through the narrow streets of Valkenburg and visit the old marl caves. Whether you opt for a guided tour of the Velvet Cave or a visit to the Castle Ruin, you will feel as if you are taking a step back in time. Afterwards, don't forget to treat yourself to a piece of Limburg flan on one of the many terraces.

South Limburg is the place to be if you like walking or cycling. Put on your walking shoes and explore the Heuvelland region, where you will walk through green meadows and past half-timbered houses. The Cauberg is a must if you like cycling, but even with an e-bike, you can conquer this iconic hill without problems.

A visit to Maastricht, the province's vibrant capital, is highly recommended. Stroll through charming Wyck, shop in the exclusive boutiques or discover the historic city centre with the Vrijthof Square and the Saint Servatius Basilica.

For a unique experience, you can also visit the Drielandenpunt near Vaals. Here, you stand in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Border Afterwards, climb into the labyrinth or enjoy panoramic views from the watchtower
