âThis is a âmust stay and relaxâ type of place. The staff is incredible, the customer service is superb and the amenities (spa. Swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, boating, biking, etc.) is fabulous. The property is lakefront with amazing views. It is centrally located to visit several cities and easy parking. Highly recommend and the four restaurants are so good. âWhile the room and building was full of character and history, it was also well-equipped with plenty of space and storage for travellers. The common room for guests had snacks, tea, and coffee, as well as a large fridge. The location is great, a few minutes walk to Interlaken West station and very close to a convenience store. There's a bakery just next to the building and the Interlaken Flagship shop is just down the road.â

But the were no rooms available in Interlaken, so I had to look further afield and happened upon a gem I would never have expected to find. "A very pleasant stay and excellent service.
We were initially concerned about the lack of private parking, but the nearby covered public parking is very close, and the hotel offers a discount for it.
The absence of air conditioning was not an issue thanks to the use of fans and ventilators.
The location near the city center and the beautiful view of the castle made our stay even more special.
