Holiday Home 'Bauernschänke'

Welcome to Ferienhaus Bauernschänke in the beautiful Schmallenberger Sauerland! Our renovated holiday home is quietly and naturally located in the upper part of Ohlenbach. You can reach Winterberg in about 12 minutes and Schmallenberg in around 18 minutes by car. It’s the perfect location for hiking, walks, mountain biking and varied excursions.



The house offers around 50 m² of space for 2–4 guests, and on request for 5. On the ground floor you’ll find a small kitchen, a cosy living and dining area, and a bathroom with shower. The electric underfloor heating in the kitchen, living area and bathroom can be controlled separately. The kitchen is equipped with a coffee machine for beans and ground coffee with a thermal jug.



Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a double bed, the other with three single beds that can be combined into a double. The second bedroom is only accessible through the first, making it especially suitable for families. The upper floor is reached via a somewhat steeper staircase.



A parking space is directly at the house. Enjoy a small private terrace with seating, surrounded by a beech hedge—perfect for relaxing. The area offers many options for hikers, cyclists and winter sports enthusiasts. In Winterberg, there are plenty of leisure activities for all ages. Restaurants can be found in Ohlenbach, Westfeld (approx. 3 km), Winterberg and Schmallenberg. Shops are available in Westfeld, Winterberg, Schmallenberg and Bad Fredeburg. The leisure pool in Bad Fredeburg offers slides and relaxation for the whole family.



TV with streaming options is available. Wi-Fi is coming soon. Bed linen and towels are included. One dog is welcome by prior arrangement for an extra fee. Events on the property are not permitted.
