  • Discover the charming vacation home “The Welsh Dragon” (right entrance, house number 56) in Schönwalde-Glien, an idyllic retreat for up to 6 guests on the outskirts of Berlin. Ideal for anyone looking to perfectly combine a nature experience with proximity to the city. This spacious 110-square-meter home offers a cozy atmosphere with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

    The heart of the home is a modern and cozy living room with comfortable seating and a TV, perfect for relaxing. Adjacent to it is a modern, fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, microwave, electric kettle, and coffee maker—it has everything you could want. Additional comfort is provided by a washing machine and dryer, as well as an ironing board and iron.

    The three bedrooms offer a peaceful retreat with comfortable linens and cozy beds (depending on the room: one king-size double bed or two single beds each), ensuring a restful night’s sleep. For our younger guests
    , a crib is available.

    Enjoy the peace and quiet in the garden, relax on the large patio, or prepare a BBQ on the grill. Free parking is also available, so you can arrive worry-free.

    The vacation home is a smoke-free property and offers free Wi-Fi.

    PERFECT LOCATION
    The historic district of Berlin-Spandau is just about 12 minutes away. It’s ideal for day trips, sightseeing, or visiting museums. Potsdam is only about 30 minutes away by car. The beautiful and world-famous Sanssouci Palace, with its expansive grounds, is a major tourist attraction. Berlin’s famous Kurfürstendamm is also about 30 minutes away. Since the Berlin Exhibition Center is only about 23 kilometers away, the accommodations are also ideal for trade show visitors and exhibitors.

My family had an amazing g stay at the Welsh Dragon. Frank and Sue are wonderful hosts. They gave us great recommendations, created a welcoming atmosphere, and made us feel right at home. We plan to stay again if we find ourselves back in Berlin!

Wir wurden recht herzlich empfangen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und haben uns die Unterkunft mit Begehung aller Räumlichen übergeben. Wir würden gerne noch mal eine Woche Urlaub machen.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage Nähe Berlin. (Mit Bus und S-Bahn in 1,5 Stunden)Neben absoluter Ruhe kann man sich viel in der Natur und den Badeseen bewegen und hat einiges an Ausflugszielen in der Nähe.Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend.Einziges Manko: Das Dachgeschosszimmer verfügt über keine Tür, man ist weder ungestört und hört alles aus der Wohnung.

Die Wohnung war groß, sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet und die Vermieter sehr sehr freundlich.Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und haben auch schon nach einem neuen Termin geschaut.Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern für ein Wochenende in Berlin. Die Doppelhaushälfte ist in Größe und Ausstattung top und liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend. Ein Parkplatz gehört zum Haus und vor der Tür gibt es kosenlose weitere Parkmöglichkeiten. Es gibt 2 Bäder mit je einer Toilette und einer Dusche und oben im Bad noch mit frei stehender Badewanne. Die Terrasse mit dahinterliegendem Garten lädt zum chillen ein. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Es war alles sauber und es ist auch gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Wir würden wieder kommen und empfehlen es absolut weiter. Grüße aus dem Harz.

Das Haus war sehr schön, super eingerichtet und hatte wirklich alles, was man braucht. Tee, Kaffee, Bratöl, Waschmittel, Handtücher, Bettwäsche und sogar frische Früchte waren bereitgestellt. Die Küche ist top ausgestattet und alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Lage in der Waldsiedlung ist sehr ruhig aber trotzdem ist man rasch in Berlin.Gastgeber waren super freundlich und hilfsbereit – man hat sich sofort willkommen gefühlt.Wir kommen definitiv wieder! Super Preis-Leistung und die bereitgestellten Dinge sind keine Normalität für Ferienhäuser/Wohnungen

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Vermieter haben sich viele Gedanken gemacht, um den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet. Ein großer schöner Garten gehört auch zur Unterkunft. Die Lage ist traumhaft ruhig und grenzt direkt an ein Waldstück.Mit dem Auto ist man schnell am Berliner Verkehrsnetz, um im die Stadt zu kommen.Nach einem Tag in der lebhaften Stadt kann man hier perfekt entspannen. Eine klare Empfehlung!

Beautiful accommodation, clean, cozy, large, warm. A house like from a fairy tale. Everything was perfect. The owners warmly welcomed us personally. A bottle of champagne and chocolates as a welcome gift. Warm floor in the whole house (floor heating). Towels, kitchen including dishes and electrical appliances, large dining table and bench, comfortable sofa, 2x bathroom with toilet. Great room for children in the attic. Large terrace with seating and a nice garden (birds singing, absolute peace, greenery, fresh air). We were at the end of March and it was cold outside to sit. Spandau station is less than 20 minutes by car. We left the car in the parking lot and we drove to the center by a lot of transport. In the village there is Edita market and several restaurants, a children's playground, a mini zoo nearby. We highly recommend this "Welsh" house to everyone. Thank you very much.
