“Charming B&B in a scenic corner of Connecticut. If you have a car there are several scenic areas within easy reach. The building has historicla atmosphere; as a consequence the itnerior decorating tends toward heavy oak and canopied beds. Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment; the serve-yourself banana bread and add-water oatmeal bags left in a corner did not match the ambience of the place.”

“What a beautiful and charming inn! I loved everything about it. The restaurant food was delicious, and the breakfast was fresh and excellent. The coffee was amazing, and the organic milk was such a nice touch. The area is beautiful, and the parking was extremely convenient. I also felt very safe staying there with my two small children. Definitely going back again!”

“It gets the job done for an overnight stay. Very close to Bradley International Airport and lots of dining choices nearby. The A/C worked great and bed was comfortable. Room was clean. On the negative side, it’s very dated and could use a total refurbish. Don’t bother with the free breakfast. Other than juice and coffee, sparse offering of maybe a bagel and maybe cereal. I didn’t look very hard as there was not much to see there. Easy check-in and check-out and plenty of free parking...

“The rooms smelled awful, and the people at the establishment were scary! I couldn’t stay I had to leave and I can’t get my money back. They wouldn’t accommodate me for a non-smoking a month.”

“Stayed with my children over the memorial day weekend for the pool. On arrival the property outside looked abandoned. One other reason for booking was the breakfast that we were not told was not available due to renovations. We were handed brown paper bags with an apple, a water and a granola bar. Under the beds were filthy with a cup of liquid under one. The heat dis not work. Towels were stained and or not in the room. Had to request it. Did not feel safe sleeping there with my children”

“Chose to stay here because I had an early flight the next day. Price point was good. Room clean but somewhat worn and outdated. Bed, pillows and linens in good condition. Staff was very friendly and helpful. check in/out was smooth. Staff pointed out places to eat that were nearby. Transportation to airport was arranged and on time as was my wake-up call. Vending machine was mostly empty.”

“The location was convenient for our needs. It was quiet. The listing did not let you know that you had to leave your room for your “private “ bath. The listing stated there was air conditioning, there was a fan. Wayne was friendly and personable.”

“Do not stay here. Absolute scam. I am a nurse and mother of five. I traveled from home to Woodsprings in 2.5 hours in traffic and 85 degree weather…. In a broken car AC. When I finally arrived at 8:30PM the woman behind the counter said “your room isn’t ready yet.” She then told me the TV and the AC in my room did not work!!
