“What a relaxing weekend! We loved Das Meyer Haus. So many details were thought of. We had everything we needed, Schulenburg had nice restaurants and shopping (one block over from old downtown) but not a lot of people. Dream property, if you love renovated old properties, this is the place to go!”

“We had a wonderful time. The cottage was a perfect secluded spot. It was great to see all of the animals and loved our first impression as we drove in the front gate and the beautiful bluebonnets streached out in front of us. It was warem and welcoming! Thank you for having a clean and well equipped cabin. We were gretted Tabby on Friday evening an Saturday morning had to chase off a coyote after him and a orange cat. Glad they are ok.”

“We had a very quiet and relaxing stay at the Byrd’s Nest. The apartment was lovely and very spacious. We walked in and saw an anniversary cake awaiting us. What a thoughtful surprise! We also enjoyed a delicious jar of honey. The hospitality extended to us by Marty and James went above and beyond. Would definitely stay here again!”

“The inside of the house was great and had everything you would need. The pool was clean and well kept. The hot tub never got very hot but the home owner communicated with us the entire time and apologized for the inconvenience. He was very nice and even offered to let us check out late. Only reason I give it four instead of five stars is because 1) The Hot Tub and 2) The back yard was a bit over grown and could have used a fresh mowing. Aside from the two thing mentioned above it was great.”

“We came in for the Cattle Country Music Festival my husband and I and 3 teenage girls. We found this place last minute we always like somewhere different to stay and this was up our alley. Coolest place they did a great job restoring the Sinclair down to the little details to make you feel at home. We will definitely re book and recommend it to friends and family.”
