“The room was very clean, something as a former maid I always look for. Staff was very helpful. We loved the soaps and staff was great about finding which particular soap brand used and even a store location for us. Motel was quiet at night and the beds were very comfortable. “We stayed in the upper appartment. The place is beautiful, comfortable, quite, and clean. The kitchen is well equipped. The balcony overlooks a beautiful garden patio. The location is a short walking distance to Ashlands' center with its theaters, coffee shops and restaurants. Steve, our host, was welcoming, bery communicative and accessible. Our stay was perfect.”

“The room was clean, the beds comfortable. We arrived just as the front desk clerk was leaving. She graciously stayed and checked us in. The desk is unmanned after 9 pm. Our key was under the mat for our room. It would have been nice if the air conditioning had been turned on. It was 90+ degrees and the room didn't cool down until early morning.”

Here are some very very easy breakfast ideas to break the monotony: hash browns with AND without cheese rather than just cheesy ones; egg frittata rather than scrambled only; oatmeal in addition to Cheerios and Raisin Bran; and plain yogurt rather than relentless vanilla. We love the location, beds, showers, and quiet. Thank you.”

“Great location to the Shakespeare Festival and downtown area. But this is an older, dark hotel with Motel 6 like rooms for well over $300/night. Just not a good quality to price ratio. Strongly suggest the hotel across the street which was about $120/night cheaper with much more light and was much newer”

“This was my sixth motel stay in seven days of road tripping and it was a delightful surprise. The exterior is quite modest - sort of a dated Route 66 vibe - but my room was bright and modern, with bamboo floors and a beautiful stone-tiled shower. It was 98 degrees in Ashland but the small AC unit performed extremely well and the room was cool and very comfortable. All the amenities I needed (microwave, fridge and especially blow dryer) were there. Of all my motel stays on this trip, including at...

“Pretty dirty was run down. The owner stays on the property but looks homeless. He is nice but super sketchy. He cleans the rooms. Goes through the trash cans just all over weird. I wouldn’t take kids here it was super unsafe. Not worth the money”

“There was no clean towels and had to ask for them a couple of times, the floor was filthy, there was leftovers in the frig, there was no ice and no telephone in the room to reach them when there was a party of teenager drinking and fighting with their mom there. We did call the non emergency Ashland phone number and they were amazing. They came right out and took care of the issue and the room was emptied. We won't be staying there again.”
