âgreat b&b! we had a large beautiful ensuite familyroom facing the street with a large bay window with a view of the flow of the tidal waters. the bathroom was small but clean, but if you are a very large person maybe you will find it hard to fit. The breakfast was abundant. The pretty patio can not be used for brakfasting on account of the aggressive and very large seagulls roaming the area, so you eat inside wich is also nice. âI received a free upgrade to one of the Lodges so don't actually know about Davy Cottage.
However, the lodge called Owls Nest was lovely. Spacious, well equipped, clean and really comfortable. The view was great. Parking was directly outside.
The road is rather pot-holed (not unlike the rest of the country!) and I didn't like the black towels which left lint all over me, but that is really me being finicky!
We ate in the restaurant one evening which was very good.
