âThe basic stuff was great. Check in was easy. Great area. We picked this cottage as it was close to several things we wanted to do. It is right across the street from the Railroad Museum which is awesome. Bring everything you think you might need. A few simple things would make this place a five. Coffee machine, hair dryer, thicker bigger towels, mat for your feet when you get out of the shower, extra toilet paper, extra towels(three small body towels, two wash clothes and a hand towel), maybe...

âPlease listen closely!! If you pass this place up, I truly feel sorry for you. I am on a first time adventure to Maine from Indiana and this is my FAVORITE place stay of ALL TIME. I wish I had done my homework and planned more time at Desert of Maine. Our cabin was cozy after a nice evening by the fire. Loved the shower!! I will definitely return for a girl's trip with my sisters!! (Cabin 17)â

âWe didnât get enough time to evaluate but from the short visit, we can say that this is the small paradise within the Main area. Best camp ground facilities we have ever seen or experienced. Looking forward to visit with friends and extended families as well. â
