“The Astro Motel is an absolute gem! The mid-century modern renovation is perfectly executed on the exterior and inside the rooms. The grounds are beautifully designed with lots of citrus, olive trees, grasses and pollinator-friendly plants. A couple of the original motel signs are incorporated into the landscape, too. “I absolutely loved this place! We arrived super early, and they were able to check us in ahead of schedule. The hotel and restaurant staff were extremely friendly. It was conveniently located right next to a golf course and pickleball courts, which we really enjoyed. The pool and spa area were clean and well-maintained. “When I arrived the front desk staff refused to swipe my credit card when the chip wouldn't pick up, she said she wasn't allowed because people had desputed their charges, not sure how that's relevant to how you run it. There were no towels in the room at all and the room smelled like old food”
