But my favorite parts of Sedona are the little known secret places, that you can explore and experience without the crowds. This gem is one of those secret locations. Sedona almost never gets snow, and when it does snow, it rarely sticks. So when a giant snow storm shut down the whole city last winter, we were dying to go out and get some epic snow pictures! Locals refer to this spot as the Birthing Cave. It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy parts of the city. It is a fairly easy hike to get here, but getting up into the cave is a whole other story! It requires a lot of scrambling, and some serious guts! Family Vacation in Sedona!

Can’t say enough about this place! The kids could have just stayed at the house and enjoyed all of the many amenities, esp the pool/ping pong table! And the views, just gorgeous! Location was also perfect with just a short walk down to the cutest little town! Host was quick to respond with the few questions we had! Highly recommend this house in Sedona!
