Oavsett om du är en äventyrlig resenär eller en som inte gillar något bättre än att varva ner med några bra böcker under din välförtjänta semester, kommer vår familjs gömställe, som backar upp till de extraordinära Red Rocks of Sedona, att ge dig första klass boende till ett pris som är inom räckhåll.

Från kuddmadrasserna och de lyxiga sängkläderna till de tjocka bomullshanddukarna i badrummen; från det stora rumets varma kiva spis och platt-TV till det välfyllda köket med alla nyare apparater och bänkskivor i granit, kommer du att bli positivt överraskad över hur "Javelina Haven" ger dig så mycket värde för dina resande dollar.

Detta specialbyggda, tre sovrum, två-badiga Pueblo-stil hem är undangömt i det lugna, semi-landsbygd "kaffe potten" nära klippformationen med samma namn. Vår getaway är på Maxwell House Drive; ser du andra gator som bär på samma märken vintage-kaffe för att genomföra temat: Sanborn, Farmer Brothers, Nescafe. Vår stora tvärgata, utanför motorväg 89, är Coffee Pot Drive. Det är uppenbart att de som lägger ut Sedonas gator hade kul att namnge dem!

Vi tror att du kommer att förtrollas av inställningen i Västsedona och wowed av klippformationerna som tornar över den lilla ravinen som öppnar sig till vår trädgård. Från det stora rummet, frukostkroken, matplatsen, sovrummet och den utsmyckade uteplatsen ser du de formationer som kallas Capitol Butte, Three Golden Chiefs och Sugarloaf. Och natursköna Sugarloaf Trailhead, som ger vandring och mountainbike tillgång till en mängd spår, är mindre än två korta kvarter från vårt fritidshus.

Loved our Stay!

We loved our stay at Javelina Haven. The home was very clean, well maintained & had everything we needed. We enjoyed the large scenic windows overlooking the serene backyard where wildlife came to visit. The home is close to many great restaurants and shopping, as well as scenic tours. We'll be back.

We had an absolutely fantastic week staying at Javelina Haven. The house is beautiful, the neighborhood is quiet and serene, and the jaw dropping hikes right out the back door to Coffee Pot, Sugarloaf, Thunder Mountain, and Chimney Rock were simply magnificent. The location of the house on the West side of Sedona is ideal, tucked away and removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown, yet only minutes away from everything for convenience. The views from the back patio are spectacular, you don’t feel in the least bit that you are in town. During our week, we enjoyed seeing all sorts of wildlife including Javelinas and many different bird species. The house itself is well laid out, open, and roomy. The beds are incredibly comfortable! Top notch kitchen for cooking, along with everything you will need in terms of utensils, pots, pans, etc., and the Weber grill on the back patio is in great shape and was great to have for a number of our meals. The ability to park in the garage along with having a garage door opener for the car was an added bonus. We immediately felt like we were home, absolutely comfortable from start to finish. Carol, thank you for opening your beautiful home, you were a pleasure to work with. Highly, highly recommended!

Spring Break

Wonderful location close to everything in Sedona. Lots of hikes very close by. The house was a great place to relax after a day of hiking. Comfortable beds, very clean and plenty of space for our family of five. We would definitely stay here again.

A Quiet Retreat

This is a beautiful home and property. Although its a couple blocks to the edge of development, with the hill in the back yard you feel like you are right on the edge of the forest. The wind blowing through the big pine trees makes a lovely, relaxing sound. There was room for all 4 of us on the giant sofa! We very much enjoyed spending Christmas 2024 here. We had a fantastic stay.

Perfect home for our first visit to Sedona

From the moment I booked this property, it has been a seamless and easy process. The homeowner was extremely helpful and answered all my questions for our first visit to Sedona. My sister was getting married and with that comes added stress.... and we never had to worry about a thing related to our stay! The views are beautiful, the house is well designed and accommodating for myself and husband, our parents and 2 teenagers! Everyone was comfortable and had fun! The property is close to several hiking spots, views and restaurants. We HIGHLY recommend and hope to be able to travel back one day! You will definitely love it as much as out family did!

Birthday desert adventure

Perfect for us!

So many good things to say. The property was in a quiet neighborhood in West Sedona. The house was clean, homey and very well appointed. The kitchen had everything you need and the beds were super comfy. We enjoyed the comfortable patio furniture and it was a short walk to some great hikes. The perfect Sedona experience!

We chose this house because it looked pretty and comfortable and had a lot of large windows so even when the early July heat kept us indoors we wouldn’t feel closed off and frustrated. It was so much more! It’s close to all the restaurants we like and on a fairly suburban street but once you walk through the doors and into the great room, the suburbia completely disappears. All you see is the outdoors and wildlife! Carol the owner had warned us we might not see javalinas because in the summer they forage at night. But it turns out, they go home in the morning - right outside the windows! We also saw a gorgeous amber colored coyote, a couple of rabbits - and, on a couple of days lots of birds of many different species. (If you like birds, pack binoculars. Some were really close but others were an intriguing flash of color just too far away to identify.) Oh and unusually comfortable sofa. So: clean beautiful comfortable house, amazing wildlife viewing, close to excellent restaurants… Highly recommended.

Heavenly Javelina Haven

This property is extraordinary. Very peaceful and private yet close to everything. We loved having our coffee on the beautiful patio each morning watching the birds, etc. We had two mornings of Javelina parading through with their babies! The house has everything you need. The living room has a large wrap around couch to accomodate lounging and relaxing. There are great views everywhere. We hiked up to Sugar Loaf most mornings for a panaoramic view of Sedona. Great place to meditate. Thank you Carol for sharing your beautiful home!

Sedona done right!

Beautiful home and area! Well stocked with lots of great recommendations from property owner. Close to grocery, shopping, restaurants and Starbucks! Private back yard and rear patio with incredible nature scenery! Great place to kick back and relax after a full day of fun in the Sedona area!

Great location and super clean

Communication with Carol the owner was fantastic and very informative. The house is spacious, well stocked with amenities and most importantly very clean. We were 2 adults on a motorcycle trip. We didn't use much of the house, but everything was there and ready if we needed it. I would highly recommend the house for a group of friends, a family or a couple looking for a nice quiet neighborhood very close to town. I would definitely stay again.

Amazing stay!

Perfect location. Feels private but right in town and in a great neighborhood. We saw dozens of javelinas and their babies come right by in the backyard. So many birds also. Carol was wonderful and gave perfect instructions, check in and check out were so easy. It was such a wonderful stay and would love to stay there again if we get to travel back.

Return stay at Javelina Haven

We very much enjoyed our third stay at Javelina Haven. Having coffee on the patio in the morning and seeing and listening to the birds is so enjoyable before going hiking. The home is beautiful inside and out. A perfect base camp for the two of us and our two dogs. Thanks again Carol.
