The gorgeous tropical gardens are amazing to walk through. The location is good, very easy to walk to all the dining options. 3 pools, so you could find sun or shade any time during the day. Our room was great too, loads of space and very well kept. Wouldnât stay anywhere else in Tulamben. â

Screaming people, loud music and caged animals. Also it's more like an construction site rather than a hotel. We left after 20 minutes. â

âThe place is a beautiful setting and everyone was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fair, they were tons of flies. The biggest drawback is the lousy road full of potholes and only one lane leading up from the main road. Unfortunately my weather was not be best but imagine the view to be spectacular in good weather. Worth a visit.â

"At first glance the place looked great and met our expectations. However after checking in and seeing our rooms and the different facilities we were a bit disappointed.
The reception staff we talked to initially was very nonchalant and we did not feel welcomed. The rooms are worn by age and it is obvious the place has seen better days. If you want a cozy, relaxing jungle visit I suggest a more modern resort. If you want more action I suggest booking something closer to Ubud as the daily shuttle service is always delayed by traffic."
