“Hotel is modern and located right at a subway stop (4 stops or 7 minutes to Kyoto train Station). Walking distance to Imperial Palace and the gardens. Quick taxi or subway rides to other sites. We had a courtyard facing room which was very quiet. There are blackout drapes so the room stays dark in the morning. Room is modern with a nice shower and fairly comfortable beds. They provide umbrellas in the lobby that can be borrowed for rain days.”

“The room was beautiful, a bit old style in terms of tech but it was overshadowed by the traditional interior. It’s a small place, only 8 rooms, however we met 6 persons in charge during our 24 hour stay. It did make it a bit awkward because some of them were super friendly, whereas others didn’t keep up. In essence, it’s worth the money but not sure if I’ll stay there again due to the location being far away from the center. ”

The staff was friendly and accommodating, particularly Riku who helped us fix a malfunctioning AC unit in our room. Overall it was an incredibly lovely experience and we would definitely come back.”
