Family Friendly Beachy Bayside Townhome - Flip Flop Escape Near Ocean City, MD

Flip Flop Escape is a lovely, family friendly, bayside, beachy and sun filled townhouse with numerous amenities including a spacious open floor plan, WIFI, community swimming pool, private patio with grill overlooking a pond with fountain, 6 - TVs with Amazon Firesticks and access to YouTube TV, large walk-in shower with bench in master bath, private full-size washer and 2 dryers and beverage refrigerator in garage.

1st floor: The 1st level boasts a spacious living room with TV, extra-large sectional sofa with chaise and ceiling fan, a sunroom/dining room with TV and counter height table with seating for 8 overlooking pond, the large master bedroom complete with king size bed, TV, generous walk-in closet, ceiling fan, nightstands with USB charging ports and spacious en-suite bathroom that includes a double vanity and large walk-in shower with sliding doors and sitting bench, stocked kitchen (coffee pot and K cup brewer, crab pot, eating & cooking utensils, dinnerware, drinkware & pots & pans), a half bath and the laundry room with full size washer and dryer.

2nd Floor: The 2nd level features 2 spacious bedrooms, a relaxing loft area and a full bathroom with shower/tub combo. The 1st upstairs bedroom features a king size bed, TV, ceiling fan and walk-in closet. The 2nd upstairs bedroom features 2 twin over full bunk beds, TV and a walk-in closet. The loft has a loveseat and TV for game console hook up (game console not provided).

The patio overlooking a pond with fountain feature has a high-top table and 4 swivel chairs (high top table height) for you to enjoy your morning coffee and the soothing fountain sounds. There is a gas grill available for your use.

Community swimming pool is a short walk from the townhouse.

Townhouse located minutes away from North Ocean City just outside of Fenwick Island.
Within 2 miles of two major grocery stores (Harris Teeter and Food Lion).

Another amazing trip. We are a family of 8 and the home is perfect for us. Great location and Kristin is wonderful to deal with. The beach in Fenwick is just 5 minutes away and perfect. Wasn’t crowded at all! We definitely return.

Pleasantly Surpised

Flip Flop Escape was much larger than we thought! The location is great, being a few minute drive to the beach. Restaurants and grocery stores are also just a few minutes away by car.

Nice property, fair price!

Very good communication from property manager, clean residence, plenty of toys/games/beach/fishing/crabbing equipment to keep everyone occupied, and a well-maintained community pool. The check-in time of 1PM allows for an additional beach day in your vacation and is highly recommended for young families.

4th of July week at the beach

Very spacious, comfortable, well-appointed, and clean townhouse for our family of four. Fantastic location in a quiet community less than 10 minutes to the beach and convenient to Fenwick, Bethany, and OC. No issues whatsoever. We would definitely stay here again when we visit.

Wonderful Home! But Beware of the Amenities

I do want to emphasize how much we enjoyed this rental. It was very large, spacious, very clean, and was really perfect for a beach trip! Kristin was easy to reach, and was a very responsive host. However, as guests, we were very frustrated with the amenities situation. Although we did sign off on it in the rental agreement, it wasn't until AFTER we had booked the home through Vrbo that the host told us she does not provide any towels or linens for the beds. I think it's very important to list on the rental's main page what is and is not provided instead of finding out after we had already made our first payment. It was upsetting that we had to bring our own linens in (since we did not want to pay more money to rent linens locally), but we dealt with it and packed our own. Then only a few days before our stay, we got a checklist of items to bring from the host. While we appreciate a checklist, this absolutely needs to be on the listing's main site as well. The host let us know in the checklist that she does NOT provide basic amenities like hand soap, dish soap, trash bags, toilet paper, laundry soap, paper towels, etc. We tried to call Vrbo since this was quite a surprise, given that we weren't expecting to have to bring our own toilet paper and spend a bunch of money on products two days before our trip and have to travel with all these additional items. None of the guests have EVER been told to bring their own toilet paper to a stay like this. When I spoke briefly with the host about this, she did say that sometimes these amenities are there, but she doesn't guarantee they will last throughout the whole season. She let me know a few items were there, but we had already purchased everything on her list. Then, upon our arrival, it turns out that literally everything was already there. It seemed to us that many people simply leave items behind and the host never has to refill anything because people buy everything and leave it. As a consumer, this is wildly frustrating for people as they are planning a vacation and traveling in. Again, the home was lovely and we had no problems once we actually got settled. However it's not right to request that guests stock a rental constantly. We could have gone to a hotel and spent less money on the basics...

Wonderful stay

The property was absolutely gorgeous! The photos didn't do it justice. The check in process was smooth and easy. All communications were prompt and clear. We just loved it! We are vacationing in the area again next year and would definitely book here again! Thank you!
