“A gorgeous tastefully decorated hotel absolutely immaculate. Staff welcoming. We went out of season and it was so peaceful stayed in the stargazer room with beautiful views of hills. Would definitely return and grassmere village is just lovely ”

Staff were outstanding and responsive to all requests and questions. Nice dining area and presentation. Great central location to Grasmere village. Our only issue is that parking can be a lottery - but staff were happy to help.”

“Wateredge Inn, Ambleside We stayed at the Wateredge Inn in October for one night and really liked it. The location is perfect, right by the water, and the room was lovely with an incredibly comfortable bed. Everything felt nicely done and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very good too. We’d happily stay here again and definitely recommend it to others.”
