Ett ok hotell
Ett ganska slitet hotell som har en väldigt fin trädgård/pool område. Dock är det livlig trafik och har man har sitt boende mot gatan så är det störande. Rummen är stora och balkongen är fin,sängarna är något hårda för min smak.

Svinbra!
Bra läge med 3 min till strand på ena hållet och lika långt till affärer på andra. Bra tilltagen frukost. Riktigt bra pool med massage precis vid poolkanten. Allt som allt ett prisvärt, bra hotell! Litet minus på wifi som strula lite, men inte nämnvärt sämre än någonannastans på Bali.

Vi har bott på hotellet sammanlagt ca 2 veckor. Haft 2 olika rum. Hotellet ligger bra i till, har en lummig fin trädgård, bra pool och en utmärkt restaurang. Personalen är mycket trevlig och hjälpsam. Massagen som fanns på hotellet höll mycket hög klass. Enda nackdelen var en otroligt fet mansperson med sin unga indonesiska "flickvän" som låg i poolen varje eftermiddag. Matades vid poolkanten av henne.

Great hotel
We were 10 people at most, family and friends, that all stayed at puri cendana for two weeks, except from a two day trip to Gili. And we loved it! Really really nice place with a great atmosphere and feeling to it! Nice and comfortable rooms, cozy garden and pool/restaurant area that was also a really nice place to just hang out and enjoy each other's company. Great food, lovely staff and extra cred to the young girl working as a trainee in the restaurant, she did an excellent work and always with a smile! We will miss puri cendana and I can recommend it to anyone who want a nice, cozy hotel, for a good value, close to the beach and not far from shops and restaurants. /Lisa

This upstairs, 2-story Balinese style cottage was huge and full of slightly dated charm. The surrounding gardens made for a nice, surprisingly quiet environment considering it’s right off the road leading to the surfing beach, literally a 2-minute walk. Nice little friendly restaurant with tasty, affordable meals, and the included breakfast offered a deliciously simple smoothie bowl, my choice every morning. Awesome staff overall, so friendly and helpful, always remembering you by name. The large bathtub was another plus, though the hot water unfortunately ran out before a proper filling, however in humid weather still quite refreshing. Morning prayers and incense performed before each deity statue in the gardens made for a lovely awakening. Nice budget-friendly place.

Excellent place to stay, old school Bali accomodation, very large rooms and lush green grounds. Plenty of wildlife around the place, very clean and great staff. Probably not the place if you’re travelling with kids. Overall very happy and would stay again.

Location is convenient with access to beach also the main route to Seminyak and changu. Food is good quality and not expensive, the staff is well trained in service and they are friendly. I would stay there one more time .. lots of beautiful trees and nature within the property with a great pool and massage service Thanks keep the great work !

This felt wonderfully Balinese. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the bathroom with the big windows. The pool was fine, close to the beach. It was in the middle of a lot of things but it felt peaceful in the hotel grounds. We would happily stay here again.

At some point in the past I guess I stopped noticing Puri Cendana as I passed by - it’s been there forever, hiding in plain sight. I sometimes stay at the budget chains nearby when I want to stay in Seminyak - for cleanliness and convenience more than anything else. This time, curiosity got the better of me when I unexpectedly found myself at a loose end for a week. I spent it at Puri Cendana and I’m really glad I did. For the same price, you get a room (with a balcony or terrace) four times the size in a traditional building. Housekeeping did a great job keeping it clean and neat during my stay. The aircon was perfect, the TV had international news channels and there was a fridge/kettle/hot drinks/water. Also a mosquito net if you wanted it. You also get breakfast, beautiful gardens and a neat swimming pool with loungers (some of which are a sun trap after 11am). The staff were lovely. So friendly and helpful. It felt like a family business. Restaurant food was good, and the on-site masseur was amazing. As good as anyone. Location-wise, it couldn’t be in a better position. Two minutes to the beach, two minutes to a busy street but in a quiet spot in between the two. If you are happy to stay in an older property (the room was good enough but the bathroom would benefit from a makeover), you couldn’t choose better. In short, it’s a hidden gem.

We wanted a traditional stay in Bali and we definitely got it. The rooms are on the older side but we couldn’t fault the comfort and size. The staff were wonderful. And the surrounding grounds are just beautiful. The pool, spa treatments & restaurant were great. Would happily stay there again.

No quiet place that is close to everything. My only criticism would be that they do not provide enough bottled water, however this was a minor issue as its cheap and easy to buy from shops that are very close by

The place is so wonderful to enjoy the beach and the Bali at the very reasonable as well as affordable price. I am afraid that the condition of pool is not good as it has used to be before Covid-19 in 2018 and 2019. Probablly, you need painting of the base of pool.

The resort was beautiful and very clean. Only a 5-minute walk away from the beach, so very convenient. My only issue is that there was no safety deposit box in the rooms, only one at the front desk.

Hyggelig lille oase i Seminyak
Hyggeligt lille hotel i Seminyak. Hotellet ligger helt ud til vejen, men det kan man ikke mærke, da man ligesom bor i en jungle bagved. Hotellet er helt fint, men af ældre dato. Badet/bruseren er ikke optimal, og der er begrænset varmt vand. Morgenmaden er fin, man kan vælge fra et menukort. Sengen er hård, men det er alle dem, vi har haft på Bali. Beliggenheden er rigtig god,3-4 minutters gang fra stranden. Og 5 minutter i den anden retning ligger en masse restauranter.

Excellent value for money and nothing at all wrong with the place, it's just a nice basic no thrills hotel which ticks all the boxes at that price point. It's also got some charm, great location, and the rooms are in separate cottage style buildings rather than a large hotel block which also makes it feel more secluded. Would definitely recommend

The hotel was beautiful and the gardens and the restaurant was very nice. The big let down was the most hard uncomfortable bed. Could not get comfortable to sleep, a real let down.
