  • this house is .4 of a mile from the Seneca Rocks visitor center. The covered patio and living room have an amazing view of Seneca Rocks. Seneca Creek wanders by at the bottom of the hill with native trout fishing. The tranquility of this property is worth the trip. We have put a lot of effort into making this house comfortable from the covered patio/outdoor living space in warmer weather to the coziness of the inside. we have tried to provide what you need for your stay here. We have opened some additional space in the basement with two Futons, a television and games. This space is partially finished and will be finished this winter. Due to the drought this summer, we drilled a new well to get better water pressure. Two plumbers have checked the water and tested it and it just being treated for hardness and has a small amount of iron. all of which is being treated effectively. The water issues are over even though we hope for no more drought. The creek adds additional relaxation and peace and of course the fire pit is always a great place to gather after great days of hiking and enjoying the outdoors.

We loved this place! We felt at home and our dogs had a blast as well. The view is amazing and the property is beautiful and peaceful. We drank our coffee outside every morning looking at Seneca Rocks. We will definitely be back soon!

This is the fourth time we’ve stayed here and is definitely the best place to rent in the greater Seneca Rocks area. Loved the recent upgrades too.

Absolutely the best bang for the buck: clean, luxurious furniture and linens, well stocked kitchen. The view!!!!! And the little guest treats...oh and the outdoor patio and seating, property was sweet too! We will return!

Awesome host, the place was immaculate inside and had everything you would need. It’s close proximity to some of the best trout fishing in the state and hiking trails. You absolutely can’t beat the view. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you to the host!

It rained cats and dogs the first half of our trip. And it was glorious...we lounged under the huge covered porch, read, played games, bbqed, and just relaxed. The second half was perfect weather. And it was glorious...we lounged under the huge covered porch, soaked in the amazing view, hiked, rode bikes, bbqed, and enjoyed the fire ring while listening to the rushing creek below. We loved every minute of it. This place is a gem - so comfortable and in a perfect location.

This home provided a perfect stay for me and my companions. A typical morning consisted of cooking breakfast on the blackstone while viewing the rocks, walking down to the creek and enjoying the solice, and walking 10 minutes to Yokum's. Our afternoon included hiking nearby trails and walking along the river. Our nights were spent inside the house that really feels like a home. This stay provided unforgettable experiences for us at a very reasonable price. If I were going back to Seneca Rocks I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

We had such a wonderful stay!! Great location, amazing view of the rocks, fantastic fishing behind the house, well-stocked kitchen, nice downstairs, and comfy beds!! The host was very responsive too.

This is house an absolute gem. This home is nestled in the mountain forest, but very close to basic amenities and the Seneca Rock Visitors Center. The best part about our stay was the beautiful porch. Waking up to coffee, a view of Seneca Rock and surround sound birds was paradise. The beds were a dream - tons of pillows and so comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with spices and every gadget you need to prepare meals. A huge book of "things to do" and instructions for the property made our stay even better - we knew exactly what needed to be done upon check out and had access to all local information we needed. I wish I could give this listing 15 stars. We will be back!

What a truly lovely and welcoming home! The house is stocked with everything you could possibly need and is so homey, beautiful, and comfortable. And of course, the view is spectacular. Warning though, you won't want to leave . . . it's that nice! We'll be back again!
