This charming one-bedroom house in Sernacelhe is the perfect getaway for couples and families looking to relax and unwind. Featuring traditional country architecture, it offers a true taste of rural living.

The property has various amenities to enhance your stay, including an electric car charger for eco-friendly travellers, canoes and pedal boats with a trailer for river adventures, paddle boards for some water fun, and bicycles for exploring the picturesque surroundings. Enjoy refreshing drinks available at a charge, such as bottled water, sparkling wine, or gin. Laundry service is also available upon request.

The house has an open floor plan. The living room features a comfortable sofa bed, a wide-screen TV for watching your favourite shows, and a dining table for four.

The kitchen is fully equipped with essential cookware and cutlery, including a stove, oven, and microwave for delicious meals.

The bedroom has a queen bed with complimentary hotel-quality linens for maximum comfort. There is ample storage space, and a crib and highchair are available for guests travelling with a baby.

The bathroom contains all the necessary amenities, including clean towels and complimentary toiletries.

The house features a lovely garden and a terrace with a table, chairs, and a barbecue, perfect for enjoying meals al fresco or simply taking in the beautiful surroundings. For those looking for a bit of luxury, there is also a jacuzzi on the terrace where you can soak and unwind.

Downstairs, you'll find a historic grocery store that adds to the property's unique charm. While not open to the public, a member of the owner's team can arrange a visit to this special space.

Sernancelhe offers several natural and cultural attractions for visitors to explore. Just 500 meters from the property, you'll find an unsupervised river beach, ideal for a refreshing dip. If you prefer a guarded river beach, there is one 2 km away and another 6 km away. For nature lovers, the Távora Walkways offer scenic walks along the river. Don't miss the Vila da Ponte River Beach for a leisurely day by the water. In addition, the historic Igreja da Lapa is a must-see attraction for those interested in architecture and history.

The local gastronomy in Sernancelhe is rich and diverse, with plenty of options for all tastes. The Convento de Freixinho offers a unique gastronomic experience in a historic setting. For meat lovers, the A Tarracha restaurant is known for its delicious picanha. If you're in the mood for a more casual meal, Pizaria Lopes serves tasty pizzas that will please everyone.

For your daily needs, there are three supermarkets nearby: Minipreço, Continente Bom Dia, and Intermarché. They offer a wide range of products to ensure you have everything you need during your stay.

Sernancelhe is a vibrant region that celebrates various traditional festivals throughout the year. The festivities are especially lively on August 15th. In the fall, São Martinho is celebrated with a traditional magusto. Two weeks after Easter, the region celebrates with various activities and events that reflect the rich local culture.

The property is easily accessible by car.

Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport is a 128-minute drive from the property.

This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before checking into the property. Check-in can be done from 2 PM, pending availability and confirmation.

Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.

For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag.

Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
