The beach-area was really spacious and the pool-area was good as well. Restaurant by that area had a pretty boring meny but food was ok. Friendly staff. Rooms are okay. First we got the wrong room, a double room with a tent bed instead of a triple room but got the right one one day after arrival. The double room was in worse condition than the tripe room.

Breakfast not good at all. My self wanted to clean the pool, ordered a glass of wine and it tasted and looked as lemonade.

Supertrevlig personal som verkligen lägger energi på att småsnacka lite varje dag och man känner sig sedd! Rent, stort, grym pool och strand. Ok utbud av mat och dryck Lite tråkig frukostbuffet

Nice hotel and big pool
Nice hotel and nice pool. Near the beach and very nice stuff. Clean and nice garden with a lot of monkey. The breakfast was okej but not so much to choose. A lot of restaurang outside with nice food.

Varken toppen eller botten
Vi bodde bara här en natt så kan inte uttala oss jättemycket men det som går att säga är att det var ett väldigt stort hotell och kändes väldigt charter. Rummet luktade instängt/fukt men var utöver det helt ok, lite för stort område och poolområde för vår smak och man fick ingen gemytlig känsla men utöver det inget direkt att klaga på. Äcklig sangria med morot och gurka kanske måste nämnas =)

Extra nätter pga inställt flyg
Pga inställt flyg var jag tvungen att utöka med 2 nätter. När jag gjorde bokningen på 21 nätter fick jag betala 633:--/natt På 2 tilläggsnätter fick jag betala 760:--/natt till hotellet. Det gick inte att förhandla om att jag ville ha samma pris som de tidigare nätterna

Bra hotell
Det var ett mycket bra hotell , låg bra till restauranger på kvällen. Mycket trevlig personal överallt på hotellet. En stor frukost med mycket och välja på. Vi hade ett trevligt rum med uteplats. Tyvärr fungerade inte wi-fi så bra på rummet men man fick gå till receptionen eller poolen.

Nice hotel, good value for money
Nice hotel with large garden, two pools and right at the beach. The staff were very kind and helpful. The only downside was that the pool was only opened btwn 9 am-6 pm, as I was there for work there was hardly no time to use the pool before or after meetings. At the reception only cash was accepted but it was easy enough to withdraw money at the bank at the hotel and there was an ATM outside. My room was in the main building. For a minor fee I could use the room until I left for the airport at 5 pm.

Bra hotell med charter stil, fina poolområden ( 2 stycken). Standard rum inte renoverade på lång tid, andra rums kategorier renoverade. Personalen helt fantastisk var du än befann dig på hotellet.

Thieves at the hotel
During our stay many guests had money stolen from their room. Someone had also been into our room our last day, the dorr was wide open when I came back after a quick breakfast. Seemed like someone had left in a hurry. When we contacted the staff they said that sometimes guests place their money somwhere and forget about it and therefore think it's stolen. We could not belive their respond. They also said we absolutely not shouldnt contact hotels.com about it. Extremly slow wifi. The staff made a scene at the pool one day and were treating guest really bad. I don't know who were wrong or right but you don't treat the guests like that infront of everyone else. The guys working at the pool were extremly rood to the lady and I think they can't handle a woman talking back to them.

Warning! Systematic theft!
This hotel is not safe to keep valuables in. While we stayed in the hotel I heard some really sad stories. Other guests had money stolen from their rooms. The morning we were leaving we had a really quick breakfast. When returning to our room the door was wide open. I´m sure that they have a system for stealing from guests in this hotel. What are the odds that someone manages to open our door and get out exactly the 15 minutes we are away at 7am? When the cleaning staff that have keys is not even there! The manager we reported to just asked us to write something on a blank sheet and told us that many people in the hotel missplaces their things and money. The staff spends most of their time trying to become your best friend and complain about how little money them make. If you don´t buy meals and tip alot in the hotel, don´t expect any service. Find another hotel!

"Turistigt" hotell
Stort, "fint" hotell. Bästa var läget; nära till det mesta. Opersonlig personal. Tråkig frukost med sur personal. Rummet var litet, sängen hård och obekväm. Ej tillåtet att ta emot besök. Inga undantag, inte ens för min väninna. Personalen agerade mest poliser. Bytte hotell efter 1 vecka.

Att träffa alla dessa vänliga människor igen är verkligen något man älskar. Att trots sitt slit att få mat för dagen ändå har energi över till att skratta och kanske också gråta med mig. Något som man tar med sig hem inombords.

Jag var där för att hälsa på mina och min frus vänner sedan långt tillbaka och spenderade inte så mycket tid på rummet.Istället prata med alla som vill prata med dig.Det ger så mycket och risken att bli lurad är väldigt liten. vänligare människor finns inte.

Tog det lugnt kombinerat med motionsaktiviteter som tennis, simning och gym (i grannhotellet för 200 dalasis). Två utflykter - i egen regi till en fiskeby och en ordnad tur till Kunta Kintehs hemby. Intressant.

Välj rätt rum !
Vid ankomst så stämde inte det alls med bokningen. Så vi uppgraderade oss till en svit. Sviten var mycket bra och höll hög standard. Frukosten var helt okej, men inte mer. Tycker synd om personalen i frukostmatsalen. Maten vid polområdet var mycket bra, likaså solstolar mot havet i sandenoch vid swimmingpoolen.

Bra hotell nära stranden med bra polområde
Jätte trevligt hotell med fantastisk personal tyckte vi hela vistelsen. Tyvärr blev vi av med 50 euro sista dagen på hotellrummet. Vi hade ingen safty Box sista timmarna och då har nån i personalen vart in och tagit dessa pengar tyvärr. Väldigt tråkigt, då vi faktiskt hade lagt fram drickspengar också. Dessa var också borta innan vi checkat ut från rummet.

Trevlig serviceminded personal
Den var som vanligt väldigt bra med undantag för kassaskåpen som är ett ganska stort problem då de är gamla och fungerar dåligt. Man är ju väldigt beroende av att kunna använda dessa. Hörde att hotellet skall renoveras nästa år och hoppas att det blir bättre då. Skåpen är inte hotellets egendom utan ett företags utifrån.

Bra läge med nära till det mesta
Stor och fin pool. Hotellet som består av skilda mindre byggnader är beläget i en stor grönskande park. Luftkonditioneringen fungerade bra vilket var ett måste när man som vi senast tillbringade en vecka där under sommaren. Under vintern är det svalare och en lätt tröja kan vara bra om man sitter på stranden En riklig frukost med allt du kan önska fanns för gästerna. Underhållning fanns varje kväll även om det kanske lockade mer att gå ut till alla barer och restauranger som finns i området. Att äta och dricka på hotellet är dyrt jämfört med vad man får betala på andra ställen. Det lönar sej därför att gå ut genom grindarna om inte annat så för att få träffa andra än hotellgästerna. Gambia är ett märkvärdigt land med en gästfri och vänlig befolkning. Personalen på hotellet är vänlig och gör vad de kan för att hjälpa dej.

Precis hemkommen. Var där för 3:e gången på 1 år. Alla gångerna alltid blivit väl bemött av alla.Några småfel men inget att orda om.redan är en ny resa bokad.Hade många gamla vänner och fick ännu fler. Den här gången var jag ensam men aldrig sysslolös.Jag säger bara: Åk till Gambia, prata med människorna, du kommer inte att ångra dig.

On the beach, great food and beer, lovely staff. Very green and welcoming. Very spacious bathroom and luxurious. Clean like Switzerland and efficient as Germany, warm as Thailand and relaxed as African beach.

Great hotel
Beautiful tropical hotel with monkeys and vultures roaming the grounds. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Service at Oasis pool bar was very slow during the day, sometimes due to understaffing and sometimes due to staff talking not working. All in a terrific hotel right on the beach with it's position on the Strip there are 30 bar/restaurants, 5 shops, 20 money exchangers and 6 ATMs within 10 minutes walk. Highly recommended.

Very clean and comfortable place to stay with extremely kind personnel. But am glad we just stayed only 2 nights and experienced 14 days of the "real" inland Gambia too.
