Set in the grounds of The Hilltop Restaurant (which opens for bookings at weekends only), 2 Hilltop Cottage offers a wonderful base for exploring the stunning Kent countryside. Exploring is easy here, with countryside walks and rural lanes to cycle in on “your doorstep”, if that’s more your thing! It also offers a fantastic bolthole for exploring Kent’s many attractions (you will need your own transport however).


With accommodation set across one level on the ground floor, 2 Hilltop Cottage is well-equipped for both families of four, couples looking for a little extra space, or for those looking for a break away from it all with friends. This self-catering retreat has been charmingly-furnished to provide all your needs. There are two bedrooms: one with a king size double bed and one with twin beds ideal for small children (these are zip and link beds and therefore can be made up as a standard double bed if required).


This cottage is well located by car for various local places of interest, including the National Trust’s Knole House and Ightham Mote, Leeds Castle, Eltham Palace (English Heritage) and Eynsford's Lavender Farm (Castle Farm). A scenic 8 miles drive away is Sevenoaks town centre with its quaint high street, cafes and restaurants. Rochester with its Charles Dickens connections and Bluewater shopping centre are also close by at 10.6 miles. Borough Green and Wrotham railway station is just 3.2 miles in distance, providing direct services to central London within 45 mins and the Kent coast.


With the Hilltop Restaurant onsite and open for pre-bookings at weekends, you won’t have to look far for a weekend treat!
