Pine Rise is a four-story Smoky Mountain cabin near Sevierville, big enough to feel like a private castle in the hills. A deck wraps each of the four levels, every one with plenty of seating and sweeping views of the Smokies, and the quiet, peaceful setting makes it easy to slow down. With ten bedrooms sleeping up to 22, the layout is built for large families and multi-generational groups, with room to gather together or spread out across the levels.
Feeding a crowd is simple here. The cabin has two kitchens, and one has double appliances and an industrial fridge and freezer, with plenty of extra refrigerator and storage space for big group meals.
There's lots to do without leaving home. On the bottom floor, a theater room with a projector screen and surround sound sets up movie night. The top level has floor-to-ceiling windows framing the mountains, plus a pool table and a foosball table. Two gas fireplaces warm the main-floor and third-floor living areas in the cooler months, and after a day on the trails, the hot tub is the perfect place to unwind.
The ten bedrooms are spread across all four floors, which gives everyone a little privacy. Eight have king beds, one has a queen, and another has a double and a twin. The two largest bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and soaking corner tubs right in the room. Six bathrooms round out the home.
Pine Rise feels tucked away from the crowds, but Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, and Gatlinburg are all an easy drive away for family-friendly fun. Beyond the towns, Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the most visited national park in the country. Straddling the Tennessee and North Carolina border, it has more than 800 miles of trails, rushing rivers, and a good chance of spotting a black bear. These are some of the oldest mountains in the world, with century-old trees lining the paths. Spend the day hiking, tubing on the river, or exploring the entertainment parks, then head back up the mountain to the view.
