Imagine being within 10 minutes of all the fun and excitement the Parkway has to offer, yet deep enough in the forest to catch a glimpse of a bear or raccoon from your bedroom window. This cabin is a hidden gem, allowing you to spend your days at Dollywood, sightseeing, horseback riding or a variety of other adventurous activities within a 15 minute drive. Then return "back home"- slip your shoes off, grill some steaks and gather ‘round the fire-pit for some old fashioned fun.

The area is heavily forested and often visited by wildlife. The green hilltop views from the cabin are spectacular, and calming to take in while rocking on the porch, sipping on some sweet tea!

The Hideaway boasts 3 Suites with ensuite baths along with a Bunk Room for the kids.

The Game Room has a pool table, 60 game arcade and bar height table and chairs.

The Pool Room is located adjacent to the Game Room on the lower level. It offers a relaxing seating area, patio table and chairs along with a 50” HDTV for your enjoyment.

Outside you will find the fire pit with a view of the surrounding hills and the lush forest.

Two adults and three kids under 10, stayed 4 nights during spring break. The cabin is accurately described in the listing. It was clean and we had plenty of towels, bedding, and paper supplies provided. It’s definitely not remote or secluded - can see at least 9 other cabins from the porch, and lots of road noise. But only a few minutes’ drive up the mountain and 15-20 minutes to the attractions we wanted to visit at the national park and in Sevierville & Gatlinburg. Hosts were communicative and responsive. Do be 100% certain front door lock fully engages. It can look locked, but needs turned as far as possible. The door blew open our first night and thankfully we travel with door alarms so we knew right away. The hot tub was perfect in the mild March weather. We only used the indoor pool once. The heat & fumes caused some coughing, but it was nice to have the option. Beds were all comfy and the wifi worked fine for streaming movies at night.

This was our second time staying at this property. Both times were great. The cabin has great amenities. My girl’s daughters loved the pool and we enjoyed the hot tub. Fire pit is a good touch. We roasted marshmallows. It was a great relaxing trip. Owners were great to deal with and answered and questions or concerns quit. We are planing another trip this same time next year

If you’re looking for a cabin with the perfect location, this one is it. Super close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. This cabin has everything you need for your family and is super clean. This was our third stay at the cabin and will be back again.

Beautiful property! There were wonderful areas to enjoy inside and outside. The first night we enjoyed pizza out at the picnic table. The last night we enjoyed the firepit and had s’mores. The layout was perfect for our family. Each had a bedroom on a different floor. The hot tub was very relaxing. It looks very set back in the woods but very convenient to everything. We made wonderful memories with family that we don’t get to see very often so it was a wonderful time!

My Family and I had the best time staying at the Backhome Hideaway cabin ! It was absolutely beautiful and our Host were extremely accommodating, if there was an issue they were quickly addressing it. The cabin was very spacious and there was a lot of privacy for all of us Myself , my Husband, our 3 children and my Mother . Our 2 boys get bored pretty easily but between the heated pool, the hot tub , arcade games and all of the outdoor games that were already set up and ready to be played with when we arrived Our boys had plenty to do at the Cabin. Thank You Sandee and Douglas for an unforgettable experience that my Family will cherish forever.

Our stay

Only we didn’t like that the doorbells were annoying every time we went in and out of cabin. The pool alarm would go off every time we also went in and out. More cleaning supplies would have been nice also. Great family cabin!! Our host were awesome and would love to stay here again if we come back!

Wonderful Cabin and Perfect Location

This was our second stay at the cabin and absolutely love it. The cabin and surroundings are so nice. We especially enjoyed our mornings drinking coffee on the deck. The family had fun playing the outdoor games and swimming in the pool. The location of this cabin is perfect. You are only minutes away from Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, Gatlinburg and the Park.

Awesome cabin!

This is a beautiful cabin that has tons of amenities and is conveniently located close to Dollywood and other attractions. The check-in process was very easy, and the owners were very prompt in communication and did every thing they could to make sure we had everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend and would stay here again in the future.
