Escape the ordinary and fall in love all over again in our intimate cabin retreat, where every detail has been meticulously planned to ensure your comfort, relaxation, and enjoyment. Constructed in 2021, this modern cabin exudes a warm and inviting ambiance, wrapped in cozy wood paneling and high ceilings.
The interior speaks of tranquility and romance, featuring a kitchenette fully equipped with a hot top, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, blender, and a Keurig K-Duo. A gentle fire can be lit in the gas fireplace for a perfect evening of romance. Retreat to the Jacuzzi tub for a soothing soak, or cuddle up in the plush king-size bed. For your entertainment needs, a 50-inch smart TV is at your disposal; feel free to log in with your personal accounts (no local channels). Our cabin offers not just high-speed Wi-Fi (800 Mbps Extreme Pro Xfinity Internet) but a SMART Home device for your convenience. A Nest Hub is also available, but can be unplugged at your comfort.
Step outside into the serenity of the front and back porches, where you can spend peaceful mornings or tranquil evenings. The fire pit is perfect for a cozy evening under the stars, while the charcoal grill adds charm to alfresco dining. It's not too big, not too small, just perfect for you and your loved one to unwind and cherish each other's company.
Despite being conveniently located, the cabin offers more privacy than your average hotel room, with easy access and no concerns of steep mountain roads. Please note that we are not a secluded cabin, but we provide an enchanting oasis that's easy to reach.

*** We HIGHLY recommend that ALL guests obtain trip insurance for their own protection and peace of mind as we do not have any control over the weather or things that may occur on your end that impact your trip. ***

House Rules

*Guests must: (1) read the entire listing and rules section carefully, (2) be 25 years old to book and stay (we may consider an exception on a case by case basis), (3) sign a rental agreement prior to check-in & ID must be provided using OwnerRez, and (4) have make full payment prior to check-in.

*Check-in after 4pm / check-out before 10am. The booking guest who is listed on the booking summary must check-in before any other guests may enter the property and must be physically present at check-out. Late check-outs will receive a 10-minute grace period. Late check-outs of more than 10 minutes will be subject to a $100 fine and an additional $100 for each additional hour (this is to respect our cleaners as 10 minutes x 3 equals to 1/2 one hour of work lost).

*During stay: • be respectful of neighbors and neighborhood • treat house as you would your own (or better) • observe quiet hours 10pm – 8am • smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside or porches ($250 fee) • park only in driveway (not on street) • lock doors when property unattended • no unregistered guests or visitors at any time ($250 fee per person per occurrence) and maximum 2 guests during stay • no pets unless service animal that must be fully disclosed at time of booking request • no disconnecting or tampering with wireless router, security cameras, smart lock or other electronics • no moving furniture • no illegal activity of any kind • no fireplace during months listed • no food outside other than bear proof trash • follow all rules for hot tub use • no feeding wildlife • no items other than provided toilet paper to be flushed down toilet • follow hot tub and fire pit rules noted on guide.

*Prior to checkout: • thoroughly wash and dry dishes and put away • remove all food from refrigerator • deposit all trash in bear proof trash can • returned borrowed household items to original locations • turn off all lights, close all windows and lock all doors.

*Any damages or additional cleaning fees caused by guest will be deducted from the security deposit (or billed directly to the guest) and reported to Airbnb.

*If there are any issues during your stay please notify as immediately.

Any intentional violation of house rules will result in termination of the remaining booking without refund.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMERS ABOUT OUR CABIN:

*We are NOT a secluded cabin but we do have seasonal trees on our property. Trees will look very different depending on time of the year so please keep in mind as in the winter trees loose all their leaves. Please see listing picture with overhead image for you to see the property and its location.

*We have a kitchenette, not a full size kitchen with a cooktop (there is no oven and no dishwasher). We are not a great fit for guests that truly want to cook full meals during their stay as we do not have a full size kitchen. However, small and quick meals can easily be made here!

*Our cabin does not have a washer/dryer on site as all of our linens are washed offsite.

*Our cabin is approximately 440sq so we have limited storage (we have four drawers under the bed and an open concept closet). As we have a kitchenette our food storage space is also limited. We would not be ideal for guests looking for larger cabins or a lot of space.

*We are on well water (as so many cabins in the area) so it is very likely that our water will not always be crystal clear, still perfectly safe to use but we do encourage you to drink bottled water to be on the extra safe side.

*We are a log cabin and as such you may smell wood during your stay.

*Property not suitable for anyone with allergies to dogs as service dogs are allowed by law as well as certain pets may come onsite on sporadic occasions as exceptions.

*We do not have any control over things that happen outside our property lines or the weather.

*We LOVE to decorate the cabin for the holidays, so expect small variation on how the cabin looks depending on when you come as we like to add different decor items to match the season/holiday. We decorate for Christmas, fall and minor decor for other occasions. Keep in mind that small decor items may also change.

*Please note, food, wine, and firewood showcased in the images/video are not included as part of your stay.

*Guests are required to sign renter agreement before arrival, no third party renters. Security deposit required of $300. Deposit to be processed by host on guest's credit card. Deposit will be taken out 3 days before check in and returned in full 3 days after, if no damages.

Fine Print on a Mountain Getaway (It is likely that some of these may apply to our cabin since we are a mountain getaway so please read it carefully). Since it's a mountain vacation you're after, please be aware that nearly all cabins in the area have certain unique characteristics:

* This area does not get snow as often as some other mountain areas and are not as well prepared so keep that in mind when coming in the winter.

* The local fire code requires that use of the fireplace and fire pit be limited from October to March. This means that the fireplace and fire pit may NOT be used from April to September.

* Well water is different from city water. It is sometimes clear but sometimes not, and at times it may have a slight sulfur smell. The bottom-line is that the water is safe to soak in.

* The Smoky Mountains are the native habitat for many creatures big and small. This includes bears, mice, snakes, scorpions and lots of bugs. We do our best to keep the critters out by having a pest control every few weeks, but every once in a while critters and crawlies do get in (ladybugs are common in the area). Local law requires that food NOT be left outside at any time unless it is properly discarded in the special bear-proof trash can. You are solely responsible for any run-ins with wildlife.

* Curvy mountain roads may be hard to navigate, particularly in poor weather. Please check the weather report before booking and dates of travel. In the winter, chains may be required. Occasionally, the mountain roads aren't drivable due to ice and snow, and snow chains may be required.

* Cell service is often poor, so print or save to your phone directions and other important cabin info before taking off on the adventure. Also plan to connect your mobile phone to Wi-Fi after you arrive.

* Gatlinburg and Sevier County are still rebuilding from the horrific wildfires of 2016. This often means that there is construction throughout the year, including near The We Cabin.
