âWe were in Birmingham to visit our son and his family and needed a comfortable place to sleep. Our room had nothing fancy but everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable with a helpful staff. It looked as though the breakfast bar was not much but we had breakfast with our son. We would stay here again for a future visit.â
âWe arrived the property around 4:10pm on 6/9, and realized that the owner or hotel.com didnât send us the check in instruction, so we couldnât get in. We tried to contact the owner listed on the hotel.com, but the phone number is out of service. So we contacted hotel.com, they got same info. Eventually hotel.com said they will cancel my reservation and book a new one. Now it is 5pm, the owner suddenly sent us the access code. We finally can got in.

âThis was my second visit in six weeks. We wanted on son to experience the house and Birmingham. As my previous experience, it was lovely and we enjoyed the bird house room more. The bird house truly suits a family and my husband and son enjoyed having a TV in the room. I'm also happy to see some of my previous suggestions were implemented in just a couple of weeks. My best experience is still the other guests as well as the house. I will be back but it will not be so soon đđ.â

âWe had an amazing stay at The Painted lady. Jing was very communicative and helped with a number of recommendations. We were only staying as a brief getaway and found out Birminghamâs good scene is pretty awesome. Iâd stay at this clean, artsy, quirky, cool hotel a million times more! â

âThis is our fifth stay at the Valley Hotel- beautiful property in the heart of Homewood. Ashley always checks us in and is friendly and so welcoming and does a super job. We will return again soon!!â

The common area with the kitchen and indoor and outdoor sitting areas is very nice, and again, due to the small size it's always quiet.
