“The cabin was in a nice location with easy access to Shaver Lake. The wood fireplace warmed the house nicely, be sure to bring your own wood and matches. There are three bedrooms the downstairs queen bed is comfortable, the upstairs queen bed was really hard to sleep on and the room with the bunkbeds was not comfortable for teens so we would recommend only for small children. The house was nice and clean and was a nice place to play in the snow. ”

“My brother wanted to go camping but needed to be able to leave quickly in case of a family emergency. I found the dome. It was perfect and challenging which camping can be. The challenges add to our experience. Shaver Lake turned cold and rainy. Our host was very helpful restoring electricity. Circuit box was behind the bookcase. The place needs one of those rugs that catches all the sand and stuff on our shoes, but there was a broom. Bring a couple of gallons of water for the Kuerig and...

“The tiny cabin in Shaver was lovely. Everything was pretty much exactly as advertised, and the location was off the main road and easy to find. Restaurants and convenience stores were just a short distance and passwords and codes were provided. The fireplace worked perfectly and made the space feel cozy. The mattress was a little lumpy and the sheets and blankets probably could have used a good wash, but nothing that took away from the overall experience. ”
