Delightful home in wonderful location near Lake Michigan. Decor very light and welcoming and extremely well stocked kitchen and dining room. Very enjoyable stay. Convenient to restaurants, beach, etc.

Perfect escape

We were looking for a driveable escape for a few days, and this place did not disappoint. It was great being able to walk to the beach, and Sheboygan was super easy to navigate. The house was perfect for what we were looking for!

Went for a wedding, left with a desire to return.Convenient location made it easy to get around.Wonderfully cared for home. Clean and ready to go. If we are able to get time to get back for a visit, we'll definitely want to stay here.

Cute house with great location

This house is beautifully decorated and the location is ideal for getting to the Deland Park Beach. The owner was extremely responsive and reached out ahead of time with additional information about the property and surrounding area. Very clean and close to the beach, Bookworm Gardens, and Riverfront restaurants.

Charming home in a great location.

This owner has focused on providing for the needs of guests no matter what their age. Comfy beds, lovely soaps, fully equipped kitchen, basement game room, etc. Location near the lakefront a plus.

Road America trip

Beautiful home with everything we needed to relax and enjoy family time after Road America. Very well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, lovely neghborhood and very clean. Great communication and owners went the extra step in communicating additional helpful information.

Fantastic weekend getaway

Well appointed home near Lake Michigan. Had just been updated and was beautifully appointed throughout. Perfect for our 2 families of 6 people. Every room served a purpose and we used them all. Enjoyed the fire pits, one on the upper deck and one in the back yard. In a beautiful neighborhood, easy walk to the beach. The owners were very communicative and it was apparent how much they love the house. Hope to stay there again in the future.

Absolutely Wonderful

We loved the beautiful home and our family time on Lake Michigan. This home was so perfect!! It was very clean and beautifully designed. The house is full of peacefulness and love. Great communication with the owners. They were lovely. The house set up was great. There were so many different areas to just enjoy conversations and laughter. We utilized every part of the house and yard. The outdoor table area we so enjoyed, the basketball hoop to the campfire out back. The beautiful sunroom with morning coffee time. Loved the gas fire pit on the upstairs balcony. The bedrooms were comfy even the pull out couch was. The kids loved it! We are planning our next trip to go back. Can’t wait! Thank you

Very nice stay near the lake

The home in Sheboygan was very comfortable and neat. We were able use the patio to have family dinners and really enjoyed the back yard fire pit. The location relative to North Point Beach was perfect-- walkable, bikeable. We even made use of the back garden that's available to guests to make a kale salad. It was a very nice stay and the hosts were friendly and communicative.

Great weekend getaway!

We were here for a girls trip and loved the location. The house was very clean. Check-in process was detailed and very easy! Really close to the lake, restaurants, and downtown area.

perfect for us

The property was beautifully decorated (over accessorized for a 2 yr old but we baby proofed it) and very comfortable for 5 adults and 3 children. This home had many little extras such as some "new" toys for the children, some condiments and basic kitchen supplies for guests. Location was great, very close to the North Side Beach and Deland Park with beach and playgrounds. Also close to the piers for our fisherman. We had a great stay.

The place is fine and is in line with the description. Unfortunately, the owners are quite defensive with regards to any feedback. We checked in and it was very clear that the fridge had not been wiped or cleaned. No big deal and we cleaned it, but when I mentioned it to one of the owners, she was very dismissive and argued with me. It was just really disappointing to get that kind of reaction when I was just giving some feedback, and it kind of put a damper on our whole trip. The upstairs was really hot (to be fair, it was a very hot week in Sheboygan), and we were so uncomfortable sleeping at night. It seem that that HVAC vents are not balanced between the first and second floors. Overall, the place is fine, but just know that if there is an issue, be careful on what and how you bring it up to the host/owners. Stay at your own risk.

Highlights: All of it! Sheboygan is a beautiful city and very friendly. The house and yard was perfect. 4 adults with a 3 and 4 year old. Lots of places to hang out in and out of the house. Fun to walk the neighborhood to see the different homes and gardens. Thank you for describing the house exactly as it is.

A beautiful home with something for everybody!

After being stuck at home for over a year because of the pandemic, our family was ready for a change of scenery. We weren't ready to go to any restaurants or shops but we needed to change our surroundings. This VERY SPACIOUS home was the perfect sanctuary for our family. The three levels, multiple rooms and abundance of outdoor space gave us the space to spread out through out the house and also come together when it mattered. The large windows provided a flood of sunlight in the living room, which quickly became our morning coffee spot. The fire pit was where we ended each day, sharing stories and making smores. We were so appreciative of our gracious hosts. They have fully stocked the with everything you will need for your stay. When I turned on the grill and noticed the gas tank was empty, I panicked. I texted Todd and he quickly telling me I could find a new propane tank in the basement. I was so relieved to know I didn't have to go to the store to buy a new one. A part of me didn't want to leave this review because I don't want other to catch on to this hidden gem. Our family definitely plans to return and we don't want the to deal with limited availability because everyone is rushing to this oasis. However, if your family feels like our family did after dealing with the hell of a year that was 2020, then helping you find the serenity we enjoyed at this home is my good deed for the day.

Thankful we Found This Gem

Our family decided to spend Thanksgiving away from extended family this year d/t the pandemic. We wanted to find the perfect place for making our new memories. We could not have chosen better. From the initial contact throughout our entire stay, it was nothing but pleasant interactions. We arrived later in the evening and lights were left on for us. It was such a warm welcome. The house is beautifully appointed, impeccably clean, and it’s so cozy and homey. There are some great indoor spaces to hang out and visit. It was a little too cold to spend time outside, but there were several great outdoor spaces as well. We didn’t do much cooking, but I did notice there were quite a few spices and all the kitchen amenities anyone would need. We went on daily walks along the lake while we were there, and I can only imagine it’s even better in warm weather. We are so grateful to the homeowner’s for sharing their beautiful home with us. We would love to return one day during the summer to take advantage of the close proximity to Lake Michigan and the many cute shops/restaurants nearby.

Great Spot in Sheboygan!

The house is exactly as advertised, great location and impeccably maintained. Close to the beach and local attractions. We enjoyed making smores at the 2nd-floor patio fire pit and enjoying the sunroom after the kiddo was asleep. We will stay again!
