“We arrived at the hotel registration (5:00 pm) to find the reception locked and unattended. A sign in the door glass window provided a telephone number, to register. The hotel person on the telephone advised us how to access the lock box, beside the door, and remove the door key to the room we had been issued. This is an unfamiliar hotel greeting and sign-in! “We had 2 rooms 1 room We had ants all over our room all over the table and beds. The other room smelled like sewer. The breakfast the only had 2 choices of cereal and the girl serving the breakfast her hair was in the eggs as she was dishing it out. The pictures online are not what you check into. The staff was very friendly however and the young man at the desk was very nice and helpful but the only person working. He was working the front desk and attending to all the rooms. “A beautiful Inn with lovely antiques and gorgeous woodwork. Room was very spacious, clean, with a bright updated bathroom. The bed was super comfortable and at night it was very quiet, even with being right on Main Street. The guest kitchen on the second floor was such a convenience! Shops and restaurants were just a short walk away. Check-in and checkout were contactless, but they added nice personal touches that let you know they were nearby. We would definitely recommend.”
