Review:
Upon check-in, our room was not properly cleaned — there were flakes of food in the bed and hair in the shower. The front desk clerk was kind enough to bring new bedding and offered us another room, but since we already had our pajamas on, we chose to stay put.
At checkout, I mentioned the situation to the manager. His response was, “Oh, you checked in with Expedia.” When I asked if he saw the notes about the sheets, he only replied, “Did she fix the problem?” After I politely said yes, there was no further acknowledgment or apology. I thanked him and left, but it would have been nice customer service if he had offered even a small gesture, like a mug or token of appreciation, for the inconvenience.
The staff tried to help in the moment, but overall, the lack of follow-up left the experience disappointing.
