Loved staying at the cottage on the lake. It’s exactly as the photos, quiet and lovely. The beach looks sandy and wonderful, it’s too chilly for swimming but looks nice. Beds are comfortable, couches make quickly into beds that are firm yet comfortable. Not far into town for groceries at the cutest store (Hardings) with excellent service, good selection. 10 out of 10 highly recommend!

We came for a mother daughter weekend getaway and it was a perfect location. Lake was nice and peaceful and we enjoyed the deck and fire pit. Didn’t get a chance to use the kayaks but would’ve if the weather wasn’t so windy. We had a fantastic dinner at Bay Pointe Bar and Grille as well as Azul Agave. Visited Holland which was only about an hour drive as well as stopped at checked out the outlet mall in Grand Rapids. Host was very easy to communicate with and check in and out were seamless.

We had a great stay and the property worked well for what we needed. When we first arrived, the water ran brown briefly when turned on, and we did notice some ants in one of the bedrooms—both of which may have been related to the storm in the area at the time. Cleanliness was overall good, though we found some pet hair on the floors and a bit of dust/cobwebs on the furniture, which is why we rated it a 4. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, and overall we had a positive experience.

The place was in a nice location with beautiful view of the lake and the deck was spectacular. The frig was large which was great and nice and clean. The place was spacious for the common areas while the bedrooms were setup to make it difficult for one person to get in and out of bed easily and no stands for suitcases so they were on the floor. The yard was really private which was nice. It was chilly for the weekend and there were no extra blankets available. When we arrived the kitchen table and microwave front had not been wiped clean. The vent next to the chair was really dirty as was the ledge of the shower and behind the door where the toilet was located. The cupboard with the towels looked as though someone just tossed the towels in them instead of folding neatly and the items on the closet shelf were the same. There were plenty of dishes and utensils to use and other than the missed wiping of the table and microwave, the kitchen was very clean and nice. The checkout said to load the dishwasher but there isn’t one. Huge beautiful windows facing the lake. The glass slider was a problem as it did not lock which could be an issue and there was no light at the entry door to see the lock code pad in the dark. None of the “problem” things were a huge deal for us but some folks might be bothered by them so we mention them just in case. We liked the place and would stay there again if we were in the area. The host messaged us right away when we sent a message.

We had a lovely stay here. The house was clean and large enough for our family of 5. The kids had so much fun in the lake and it was a great view to enjoy every day.Everything we needed was provided which was the cherry on top. We were traveling from the East Coast - last thing we needed was to travel with linens or other necessities.

Week Escape on the Lake

This was a great property and fit our needs for a week long getaway on the lake. But also close to Grand Rapids for work and activities. Mike was very accommodating and will to help immediately with any questions.

Awesome Vacation Spot!!!

The house is beautiful and the huge windows gave us such a great view of the lake! The beach is literally in the back yard. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend, especially for lake lovers! Check in was very easy and the email I received had all the information that we needed for our stay so it wasn't necessary to even have to call and bother our host. We greatly appreciate our host for everything

Had everything we needed!

Enjoyed a long weekend in early spring. The cabin was well equipped, even had beach towels. While the beach was not quite summer ready yet, we still got to enjoy a relaxing time on the lake. Great spot to bring bikes/scooters for the kids as well. We had a fun time exploring nearby kalamazoo's museums and nature venter.

Jusr the most beautiful and peaceful property to unwind in. I loved the view and the sitting chairs. We played a game they had and I had to order it on the way home. It was so fun! I would love to rent again or hey maybe I can purchase a house on this lake in the future. Yes i loved it that much!

The weather looked bleak heading into our weekend here. But the weather gods gave us plenty of sun shine to enjoy this cozy place. The beds are very small. But comfy. Very friendly neighbors. Throughly loved the escape. Never had a reason to contact the host, which I think speaks volumes of the property and experience.

Fun week on the lake

My parents were here from South Carolina and we thought it would be fun to have a mini vacation. Everything we needed was in the cottage and it was easy to get down to the beach with 2 four year olds. We also met the neighbors and had a pontoon ride. Everybody was very friendly
