“Decent for a night or two, but overall just okay. The walls are very thin, and quiet hours didn’t seem to be enforced. Check-in was confusing — we arrived around midnight to locked doors and had to call someone to get in since staff is only onsite from 8 AM to 8 PM. We were originally told mobile check-in with a credit card was an option, but that never seemed to work properly. On top of that, the $150 incidental hold felt excessive for a budget hotel. “My husband & I were very impressed with the hostess Ms. Henrietta Taylor she made us feel at home with her hospitality. She keeps the establishment immaculate, and served a scrumptious homemade breakfast! “The color thing is interesting, but I would have appreciated more attention to some basics. For example, when I went to turn the TV off, it turned out there were no batteries in the remote control. There were no instructions on the phone that explained how to reach the front desk. There were no USB outlets to I had to find a store that sold AC adapters so I could charge my devices. Also a 4 PM check-in seems really late and I'm convinced that made me wait 20 minutes for no reason. Beyond that,...

“Great Stay”

“Broken drywall on bathroom floor, old candy bar wrapper in nightstand drawer. Left an item behind and no one would call back. Asked for a cab was told it takes 5 minutes, oh no I was late for an extremely important appointment.”

“Rooms were large very new, clean & quiet. Location was perfect. We were visiting our daughter who goes to wash U. Very walkable location! Will go back ”

“We had an amazing stay! Everything was clean at all times. The breakfast was delicious, especially the biscuits. And the popcorn and the afternoon kick back is a great concept! Every single staff member we interacted with was extremely kind and helpful, from front desk, to kitchen staff and cleaning staff. The positive energy of Deanna and Unique will stay in my heart for a long time! I can highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here if I come back to STL. ”

“Blackout curtains didn’t meet fully in the middle so it made for an early morning. This was the only note I have for the property that isn’t positive. Front desk staff was warm and welcoming and so helpful! Lovely clean room that was well appointed”
