âDog friendly hotel where rooms are superb, clean and spacious and well laid out. It was our second visit and although it is not the cheapest hotel, it is worth the extra if you want to spoil yourself a little. â
âIt is a true gem of a hotel. Beautiful buildings, both old and new, and a magical garden. Two residents lounges plus a library with pool/snooker table. Reception were efficient and friendly, and the room exceeded our expectations, with wonderful attention to details. I am not a breakfast lover, but there was plenty of xhoice, and frankly the best hotel breakfast I have ever sampled. âNice stay in an old small, sleepy town next to a beautiful church (abbey). Nice small shops along the only shoppingstreet. The pub/restaurant was closed mondays when we stayed and really quiet room.â

âThis is a good, old fashioned pub experience. The accomodation is clean and funktionalitet. The menu offers enough variety and well cooked. The staff friendly but professional. The atmosphere relaxing and welcoming even on busier nights. Whole experience felt safe. Important when travelling with an elderly person. Stairs were managable. â

âWhat an absolute treat The Red Lion is. I went of pervious reviews and it didnât disappoint. In fact it exceeded my expectations, what a gem of a place. The Staff were simple amazing, David and Jasmine were fantastic and always on hand of we needed anything. The rooms are so comfortable and modern, the Breakfast was fabulous and the food in the pub was outstanding. My only problem is that I won't have the homemade biscuits that were in the room, tonight with my cuppa tea when i am at home.â
