“Everything is okay”

“The Lux worked great for us. We had a pup with us, so they placed us near the exit. We liked the location. We spent 3 days exploring the area around Seneca and Cayuga Lake. It was comfortable. We liked that there was a restaurant attached where we ate dinner a couple nights. I will be passing through the area again in a week and am planning on staying there again.”

“The hotel was wonderful. This brand-new resort offers excellent amenities, including mini golf, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a hot tub, and a beautiful luxury bar and restaurant. It is conveniently located just a short distance from downtown Skaneateles. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The entire property was well maintained and beautifully designed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Highly recommended!”

“Charming property with delightful rooms. Victorian decor and old world charm. Staff was friendly. No elevator but stairs to second floor were manageable. Beautiful view from 3 sides in the Garden room. Location was convenient to walk to the falls. Bright dining room. Had an excellent dinner and continental breakfast. “Hello, As a travel agent bringing my clients and friends for an overnight stay for a wedding we were attending, it was altogether disappointing. Allow me to explain the many reasons why. We arrived on schedule and tried to check in at 3 pm, we were told there were NO rooms available. We were told we could change in the lobby bathroom. When we finally were able to check-in around 3:25, we brought all of our stuff to one room because only 1 room was available at that time. All 4 of us were...

“I will be staying here when I return to the area. From the staff to the room to the grounds it is evident that the family runs this place with pride. I meet a few of the family members and they were friendly, helpful and a great to talk to. There are 2 historic homes beside each other in a quiet neighborhood. The grounds behind the homes are well maintained with birds and deer in the mornings.”

“There was a virtual check in machine that was a terrible experience. I couldn’t hear what the screen was saying, the volume was too low and the person (?) on the screen could not make the volume louder. The lobby door was locked so I couldn’t access an actual live person. When a human came to assist the experience improved exponentially! The person was kind, friendly and helpful.”

“The unit we stayed in was charming with a kitchenette and a lovely spacious bathroom and a cute back patio. Easy access to the Finger Lakes Region. I would say the only downside was no free ice on site. You can VENMO your ice purchase, which is fine, if you have VENMO. We don’t.”
