Unfortunately it was quite hot due to it being on the second floor and after a string of hotter than usual days, not helped by the fact that the heated towel rail (from the hot water system) couldn't be shut off. But a great old pub to stay in all the same. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant.”

The highlight of the hotel is its elegant and luxurious spa. Fabulous breakfast served. Lovely dinner options at The Blue Tiger. Spacious room and very comfortable bed. I would happily return! ”

“The hotel with the rooms was very outdated. Horrible smell everywhere. Staff were nice and helpful though. We could only park behind the dirty building, car park full of rubbish. The walls were paper-thin, so we heard every conversation (it was rather a screaming between family members) and door slam in the hallway. Ruined our entire weekend. The room was filthy, with dust thick on the Cupboards, shelves, no hoovering was done, I had dirty towels. TV couldn’t be used. The price was very low...

“Vi bodde två nätter i detta underbara charmiga hotell, men nästa gång bor vi längre! Servicen var mycket bra. Frukosten lagades efter vår beställning och serverades av hotellets ägare (?), som också gav oss värdefulla tips inför våra utflykter i omgivningarna. Badrummet var fräscht och välfungerande - och i engelsk stil. Huset var mycket gammalt, så golven var skeva och trappan smal - men det hörde till charmen! Vi hade familjerum - mycket rymligt!
