The distance to the train station going into the city is really quite a walk. Taxis are not always available. So I advise you MUST make arrangements for staff to pick you up at the train station and you must make arrangements at least one day in advance. “The home looks exactly like how it is in the photos, condition of home seems good and new. Bedrooms and toilets are at the lower floor, while the living and kitchen area are at the upper floor. The stairs may be slightly steep, but this is the standard Japanese home design. Overall stay was very comfortable, home was warm enough in the winter, space was sufficient for 3 adults. Parking was right outside the house, very convenient. ”

"If you can book this hotel, don’t hesitate, it’s breathtaking. Best onsen hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The “stone” bath is peak, with both big indoor & outdoor bathing areas + a sauna beautifully put together. The inside of the hotel is magical too,, feels like you’re inside a Japanese castle. It even has a game center, kids room, table tennis, karaoke rooms, swimming pool, outdoor footbath in the garden ETC. I’m literally speechless at this place, very impressive. Buffé dinner was about 3300yen but totally worth it, delicious."
