“Our stay here was absolutely wonderful! The accommodation was extremely comfortable and the host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their warm hospitality truly made our trip special. The homemade breakfast each morning was a real highlight - freshly prepared, delicious, and the perfect way to start our day. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. “What a sweet property. I only wish it was spring or summer so we could have enjoyed the grounds. When you go to an owner managed property you appreciate the small details that go into making your stay special. We happened to have brought our pup on this quick trip up to Ithaca to watch our sons play lacrosse against Cornell. When we arrived to the room there was a dog sheet for the bed (smart), a towel, a water bowl and of course a treat. The room was decorated minimally with midcentury modern...

“This is a very nice historic inn. We stayed in room 6 which was exactly as advertised. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and was cooked to order. Lastly the attached pub was a nice perk and enjoyable. My girlfriend has already said that we will still here again the next time we are in the area.”

“Everything would have been perfect if the staff had not said a word to us and charged us an extra fee. At first we didn't understand why and then I read on the website that it turns out that you have to pay extra for prevarication with a dog. It would be good to tell hotel guests about it.”

“The motel was recently updated and aplears to still be updating rooms via the construction roll off box fkr debris disposal. Our room was clean and fresh, mattress firm and received extra pillows. Management very friendly and accomadating. Professionally run facility.”

“Beautiful room and home, very clean!! Loved the amenities too. Amazing bathroom. Only issue was that the walls were very thin and we could hear everything other guests were doing. Since there are no TVs in the rooms, it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop at times. We felt like we had to whisper inside our room. Perfect for a quiet getaway but bring earplugs just in case there’s a snorer in the next room.”

Dirty, funky smell

"I stayed for four nights and I do not recommend this hotel. The room and hotel was overall dirty and had a very funky smell that sticked to everything that was in the room. Further, the toilet clogged the first night and was not repaired until the third day (even though notice was given to the reception), entailing that I had to use the toilet in the reception for two days. When informing the reception the first time, they responded "it is common, try to flush". Also, I am pretty sure that I did not have fresh sheets in my rooms as I found several dark hairs in the bed (not my hair colour). I further tried to contact the hotel before my stay both via hotels.com and by a form on their website, but I did not receive any response. The breakfest was very poor. However, the wifi was good!"

"Rymligt rum likt de flesta andra i USA med två queen sängar. Ett pluss för att det fanns tops och lite annat man gärna glömmer i badrummet. Ganska bullrig A/C men vi är glada att den finns! Poolen var stängd."
