Outstanding service the staff are so friendly and professional could not do enough for you. Such a well kept property clean and maintained so well, both grounds and house. Food was excellent and again the service just made it so special. We had a classic double room and we were very happy with it the little touches of a welcome letter and Elemis products, the only issue we had was our radiators didn’t work so was a little chilly but William straight away brought us up an oil filled heater and it soon warmed the room through. There is a cinema room but unfortunately we could experience it as it was booked up but next time we will try to book in. Definitely will be a next time

This place is a delight. If i had to make any recommendations it would be to change the directions help on Hotels.com to the proper entry rather than the way our/tradesman’s entrance. The approach to the hotel is spectacular and should not be missed.

Wonderful place
Wonderful place. Exceptional service. Friendly and attentive staff. Very clean. The gardens are great. This is an excellent wedding location and lives up to the photographs. We stayed for one night as part of a long journey north. I would have stayed for a week if I could. Will definitely be back.

Outstanding overall experience…
What a wonderful experience, from the incredible early view of the Hall as you approach in it’s beautiful surroundings to the impressive historical building and outstanding customer service. The menu was a real foodie’s treat and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating… highly recommend

Staff were amazing but unfortunately they don’t have enough so had to wait over an hour to get our room but given a complimentary glass of Prosecco. We waited two hours for our evening meal and the next morning we had to wait an hour for breakfast which was overcooked. I’m sure it would be an amazing stay but unfortunately lack of staff and the venue catering for a large wedding party meant a great disappointment

lovingly restored mansion. has a lift. suite was on second floor with lovely view of well kept rear gardens. friendly, helpful staff. Excellent food. Did the Audiotour of house & garden which was excellent way to explore the staterooms..and luckily weddings did not exclude any of the rooms. It felt relaxing, even whilst dining in the saloon..it was not too formal. there was a large birthday celebration party going on in the refectory, but it did not interfere with our enjoyment of the hotel

I can't recommend Hawkstone Hall highly enough. The location is just stunning, as is the house. Yet despite the grandeur of the place, I never felt anything but totally at ease. The food was easily some of the best I've had, but if I had to choose one thing that really stood out about Hawkstone Hall it was the fact that every member of their staff was an absolute delight.

Amazing place to stay and from arrival to departure we were treated like royalty. I would have to say one of the best places we have ever been and stayed at. All the staff should be commended for how they treat guests and how they hold the uttermost respect for everyone.

Spectacular hideaway.
Fabulous overnight stay. Perfect hotel and gardens found at the end of the mile and a half drive. Welcomed with a glass of fizz. Service was excellent with special mention of Beth, who was excellent in the restaurant.

Well worth a visit
Very friendly welcome personally touches like welcome drink. Room was small but decorated tastefully, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Outside areas are well maintained and great for pleasant stroll. Food was simple but very tasty and cook extremely well.

Considering that they where just up & running after covid, We found the service really good. Cameron was a lovely new waiter & had an excellent personality for the job. Food was superb & cocktails delicious. The room was really clean. We will return to take advantage of the grounds on drier days

Power cut caused panic among staff.service at dinner was appalling, quality mediocre. Shower cold and dining room cold. Lifts not working. Breakfast poor and service slow.unless staff are trained better this hotel does not deserve 5 stars.

Pretty good experience. Venue is fabulous. Minor gripes..... 1. Service at dinner is a little slow. 2. Shower head is tiny......replacement required. 3. TV way to a small for a hotel of that quality. We would stay there again

We were warmly greeted at the door and presented with a glass of champagne which was a wonderful start to our stay. The food and service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds are extensive. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful stay
We had a 3 night stay at Hawkstone Hall and the surroundings are absolutely stunning. Looking out on to rolling countryside for miles from our bedroom window alone exceeded all our expectations. The staff are friendly, courteous and nothing is too much trouble. We tried both restaurants and room service and all of it was very good indeed. Even though staff had to wear masks due to COVID-19 they remained pleasant throughout. We really felt for them having to work all day in a mask but they did it with grace even though it must be so uncomfortable and difficult to greet people wearing them. One of the owners was visible throughout our stay and he made a point of chatting to guests and asking if there was anything they needed. Overall a wonderful stay and we will most definitely be returning. Thank you to all the staff for everything you did to make our stay so welcoming and comfortable.

Beautiful property in picturesque surroundings
A lovely property in great grounds. Attentive and friendly staff, with Prosecco ready on arrival and to help check you in. Dinner in the casual restaurant in the evening was great. Grounds were perfect for a walk around. Everything beautifully kept. The gym is well equipped, with great views and a very pleasant room.
