“I was my first time in a Japanese ryokan and it was a wonderful experience. The staff is very friendly and courteous. They speak very little English but that is not a big problem, they go out of their way to help you and give outstanding service. The ryokan itself is very beautiful and cosy. The room was very nice and you have a lot of space, which it's not usually the case in a "normal" Japanese hotel. “We really enjoy our stay in the hotel. Our room was clean and spacious, and bathroom was a top notch with views over the sea and mountains.
The hotel is located on the isle and there is a very picturesque walk around it. You can also visit aquarium and marine park to see marine animals. ”

“I had booked this hotel thinking it was standard, but it was Japanese style: tatami floor, floor mattress, and no private bathroom (shower). The room did have a toilet, sink, closets, tv, electrical kettle, etc… yet despite not having my own shower was not a big deal. They offer bathhouse: very clean, spacious, with multiple pools (hot water) cold tub, sauna and even an outdoors onsen! Overlooking the river! Fall asleep sleep to a running river, and waking up to it was so soothing. The staff was...

“Dormy Inn gives life and reason to visiting Mishima. We love staying here during our annual trips too Japan. We got upgraded without any mention of it and the cleaning ladies are always so sweet and welcoming whenever we see them. Beautiful view of Mt Fuji both from our room and from the Onsen bath. Delicious breakfast and welcoming staff. 10/10!”
