“If you visit Ragusa and you are lucky enough to be able to book this hotel, this is the cosiest place we've ever been to. The breakfast is genius and so are all the other arrangements!”
“+ The room was beautiful, comfortable and big. Amazingly big balcony on two sides with chairs, table and two big comfortable chairs to lounge in, even a drying rack.
- Necessary to drive to get to a restaurant as there were none within walking distance.”
“Pros: good location, clean and modern room. The host, Ottavio, was incredibly responsive on WhatsApp and was there at arrival to help us find parking, gave us a quick tour and even recommended restaurants.
Cons: sound insulation was unfortunately poor and we were woken up by noise coming from the corridor/kitchen. Breakfast was okay but nothing special (although I think it was acceptable given it's a B&B).
All in all would definitely consider staying here again if passing by Agrigento.”

“Modica är en världsarvsstad som är värt ett besök. De vackra byggnaderna är i centrum kring huvudgatan. Hotellet ligger dock en bit därifrån och det är inte helt lätt att köra bil ner till centrumdelarna, speciellt inte i rusningstrafiken.”

“This is a great place to stay with excellent service and comfort. What makes it exceptional is how close it is to the Valley of Temples; Walk out of the hotel garden and you are already in the archeological area, with less than a 5 minute walk to the closest temple. Amazing! No need to think of where to park, no standing in line to get tickets and if you are lucky you get a room with a fabulous temple view!”
“The hotel is centrally located and the owner/hosts are very nice, helpful and kind. The city centre is just around the corner and the beach close by. Ideal for a combination of activities and stop over. There are several restaurants nearby as well as a beach for a swim.”

“Trevligt stort rum, bra badrum. Bra och säker parkering inne på gården. Har dock svårt att förstå att hotellet har 5 stjärnor. Mycket dåligt och instabilt Wi-FI, vilket vi påtalade. Fick till svar att de max kan erbjuda 5 Mb download vilket vi aldrig kom upp i, upload nära 0. Eftersom vårt rum var relativt stort var AC anläggningen ej så effektiv, vilket vi påtalade och trots att den ställdes på 18 grader blev det aldrig svalare än 23 grader. Frukosten var okej, inte mer. Vi hade en super härlig vecka på Almar. Hotellet var toppen men i behov av lite små renovering. Mosaik som släppt i poolen, badrum som åldrats mm.
Det finns ett litet gym som funkar men i minsta laget. Saknas yta för lösa vikter och stretch.
Rummen var generösa och fina. Toppen service och städning.
Stranden som tillhör hotellet ligger en bit bort. Bra med solbäddar men lite stenigt och inte så lätt att bada i.

"Mycket fint hotell längst ner mot vattnet. Man möttes till och med av god doft när man gick in. Faciliteter och inredning var super och frukosten var helt enastående. Trevlig personal för det mesta! Det som kan förbättras är att det var hål i både lakan och solsängen vid poolen samt att man hade velat byta sina strandhanddukar. "
"For anyone who didn’t look at all the photos of this hotel, you’ll be staying in a petrol station, on the main road leading to Modica. While we could have looked through to image 25 and the satellite images, we had unfortunately not done so this time (but will be sure to do so in the future).
This was the start to a stay that left a lot to be desired. Cleaning at this supposedly 4 star property apparently does not involve ensuring that the bathroom is stocked with soap and schampoo. Neither does it involve removing dirty dishes (coffee cups provided by the hotel) nor does it involve changing visibly dirty bed linen. Just making the bed up as is and putting the dishes on the side is enough here.
The hotel also claim to have a private beach. We were sent on a wild goose chase by the front desk to find said beach, only to find that the place they sent us to didn’t exist, and once we had managed to find this supposedly private beach, it was indeed very private, but not for the guests of this hotel - but rather for guests staying at their separate hotel located on the beach.
All in all, this is a fantastic hotel if you want to spend your holiday keeping track on those who runs from their bill at the gas station. "
