Tettegouche timmerstuga North Shore Lake Superior w / bastu

Handskrivna timmerstuga ligger högt upp på en klippa med utsikt över överlägsen sjö. Omgiven av stora röda och vita tallar är det verkligen 'tallens land'. Hoppa tillbaka på däck eller i den stora verandan och se på fartygen som kommer och går från Silver Bay Harbour. Enorm utsikt över sjön och Palisade Head. Mycket privat och fredlig.

Toner att göra, nära Tettegouche och Split Rock State Park och Silver Bay Marina. Utmärkta vattenfall, dopflod, bad, vandring, fiske, cykling, bergsklättring, segling, båtliv, kajakpaddling, listan fortsätter ...
eller en perfekt plats att sitta och njuta av utsikten och göra ingenting alls.

Vintersäsongen ger en helt ny rad aktiviteter och landskap. De snötäckta vita tallarna med det blå vattnet i Lake Superior är fantastiskt! Vi har en söt duva svans vedeldad bastu. Det finns flera fantastiska längdskidspår i närheten, inklusive Tettegouche State Park, där du kan åka skidor till ett gammalt jaktläger med flera timmerstugor och en trevlig lodge. Du kan packa i en lunch och göra eld i spisen. Det finns också Northwoods Ski Trail i Silver Bay och Flathorn-Gegoka i Isabella, bara för att nämna några.

Det finns en drottning och en dubbelsäng på loftet med ett stort takfönster för stjärnstjärnor och åskväder. Skärm verandan blir en sovande veranda på natten med en futon och dra ned nyanser, det finns också en bekväm futon i vardagsrummet.

Centralt beläget på North Shore bara 50 miles till Grand Marais, 58 miles till Duluth eller 50 miles till Ely och Boundary Waters. Silver Bay Marina ligger bara sex mil bort. Superior vandringsled är en kvarts mil.

Beautiful log cabin at top of a hill, nestled in the woods, with great lake views, and spectacular sunrises. Sauna and campfire under the stars added perks. Everything you need as a base camp to explore the north shore.

This is our second stay at this beautiful cabin. The views from many angles are stunning. It is quiet and cozy, complete with a fireplace, fire ring and sauna. The cabin is well-stocked and perfect for relaxing days at the cabin or exploring all that the NorthShore has to offer.

Beautiful overlook

The cabin has a beautiful overlook of lake superior and is close to all the hiking trails that we wanted while we were there. Instructions to sauna were clear and was a nice bonus. The one downfall that we had was that it was hot and humid while we were there and the ceiling fan was not functioning and there is no AC. Things that did not affect our stay but maybe would have been nice to know ahead of time was the loft is considered the bedroom. The coffee maker is a coffee press (which I was unfamiliar with) and we could not find a lighter to start fires, so we had to buy one. Overall stay was very nice.

Great little cabin

Perfect for the two of us. Took a minute to get used to the stairs but everything else was set up great. We hung out on the deck overlooking the lake, plays games on the screen porch and even got the sauna going. The fire pit was perfect and it was nice they supplied all of the wood. Definitely recommend for a couple.

Honeymoon with a view

Lovely, tranquil escape

Thank you for another lovely visit! We enjoyed daily hikes up and down the coast, investigating a few new spots to change things up. The weather was perfectly mixed, and topping off a chilly morning walk or a toasty afternoon climb with a sauna and then a beer on the deck was amazing!! Perfect Christmas gift for parents

We gifted our parents a stay at Shawn & Edward's property for the second time now for Christmas. They both came back saying it was incredibly relaxing and cozy, they enjoyed the proximity to North Shore sights like Split Rock lighthouse, the Onion River, and other hiking trails, and the sauna was wonderful. I know they would love to come back.They also really enjoyed their interactions with Shawn & Edward and were thankful for their warm welcome. I also want to thank Shawn & Edward for helping them check in, as I was out of the country and didn't receive the texts they had sent. Thank you for the extra patience and care!
