  • Welcome to the Rock Tree House! This studio apartment is the perfect get-away retreat for the outdoor enthusiast: 20 minutes to Silver Falls State Park, 2 miles from the quaint downtown Silverton and well within driving distance of all the Willamette Valley has to offer. Enjoy your morning coffee on the private outdoor deck surrounded by beautiful trees and abundant wildlife. Our home is a safe space for all people. We welcome guests of all races, faiths, genders, and sexual orientations. This is a fully furnished upstairs studio apartment with a private entrance and deck in a gorgeous wooded area.

I would absolutely stay here again a million times over! The house was so easy to find (with their instructions), parking was perfect, the property was clean, spacious, comfortable, had EVERYTHING I needed, and more! As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and never questioned my privacy. On my week long road trip, this was by far my favorite place!

Cindy and Bill’s tree house getaway is exceptional. It’s a perfect place to rest, relax and explore all that the Silverton area has to offer. We were able to dine outside most evenings among turkeys, and deer; we were even treated to an occasional visit by the neighborhood kitty, Charlie. Silver Falls State Park was the initial draw for us, but we also discovered some great bike trails along the Columbia River Gorge as well as a more local one to the Benedictine Brewery in Mt Angel.Cindy is an amazing host and makes everything g easy for you.

This was our 3rd stay at the Rock Tree House. It’s cozy and with the added touches- fresh flowers, a basket of fun snacks and the chilled Sparkling Cider and glasses just topped it off! I’m sure we will be back again!

Beautiful location. Nice to be able to spread out and relax a bit after staying in hotels for over two weeks. Great location for hiking the Trail of Ten Falls at Silver Falls State Park. We also really appreciated the park pass that was provided for guest use.

This was a perfect location to start our Oregon trip. Cindy was so helpful and flexible when we added a kiddo. If we ever get to come back to Silverton we will stay again.

Great little trip

We enjoyed the convince of the Vrbo and it had everything we needed. Spent 2 nights there to hike the trail of ten falls. It was a nice little getaway.

This is a beautiful apartment above the owner’s garage that is just high enough to feel like you’re nestled in the tree tops! I loved staying here and definitely recommend!

We came for Mother's Day and used the Rock house as an escape from the hoards of Extended family. the place is Beautiful and quiet, and the visitors (Wild Turkeys) are entertaining

Wonderful

Beautiful, welcoming and very comfortable (especially the bed). Lovely setting and all the little personal touches were appreciated. Easy/great communication with the host as well. It's quiet and peaceful, and a perfect spot for me to focus on a work project during my stay. One of the best properties I'v ever visited in my travels.

Perfection

We loved staying in this home. The extra touches were so thoughtful. Every detail was thought out and appreciated from the fresh flowers to the snacks and water. The location is peaceful and the deck is amazing. It was such a wonderful place to stay after a long few days of hiking and camping. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. We would love to stay here again.

Beautiful place to stay

This is a wonderful property. We were very comfortable here. The room is beautifully decorated with a nice balcony overlooking the woods. We felt very private. The host has all of the finishing touches included, and my husband says it was the best coffee! Definitely recommended!

Perfect couple of nights by Silver Falls

Lovely place to stay close to great food and live music in downtown Silverton. Arrived in the evening after exploring the Oregon coast and appreciated the fluffy towels, blankets and comfy bed. Hosts provided snacks and a treat to celebrate our honeymoon. Very convenient for an early start hiking the 10 falls loop. Enjoyed sitting on the deck among the trees and wildlife. Great location, accommodations and hosts.
