Lovely villa that's perfect for families

We were a large family of five adults and five children (age 4 - 11), which had a fantastic stay at Villa Charme. Fernando was a great host who received us at the house when arriving and was always available for any questions during our stay. He gave recommendations for which beaches, restaurants and interesting places to visit. The villa is great for families, where the kids can play in the pool, trampoline, activity room and/or play soccer in the large garden. Adults have a good overview of the pool when sunbathing, dining at the outdoor table or working out in the gym. The fence around the property also makes this a very safe place for children. Highly recommended villa that's even better than in the pictures!

We have just returned as a family of 10 from staying for 10 days at the superb Fantastic Villa Charme. It has been wonderful. The villa itself is perfect for a large group with everything you could want provided and the pool and poolside gym used every day. Fernando the host could not have been more helpful and nothing was too much effort for him. He gave us great recommendations for restaurants to celebrate one of our parties birthday and also the best beaches to use. Our holiday could not have been better. Highly recommend

Fantastische Villa fĂŒr den Familienurlaub

Wir reisten mit zwei Familien (insgesamt 11 Erwachsene + 1 Kleinkind) an. Die Villa Charme hatte alles zu bieten, was man sich fĂŒr den Urlaub wĂŒnschen konnte. Fernando war ein sehr entgegenkommender und ĂŒberaus freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Check-in sowie Check-out liefen ganz problemlos ab. Die Lage der Villa ist ebenfalls super, man erreicht in wenigen Fahrminuten schöne StrĂ€nde sowie kleinere sehenswerte StĂ€dte. Wir können die Villa Charme wĂ€rmstens empfehlen und bedanken uns noch einmal ganz herzlich bei Fernando!

10/10 villa in a 10/10 location with an 11/10 host.

Absolutely flawless experience staying at this property with a large group of friends. Throughout the whole booking process and during the stay, Fernando was incredibly hospitable and responsive. All of our questions were answered answered within hours, at any time of day. The villa is also perfectly located for a mix of activities - not too far from the party strip of Albufeira, not too far from Faro, and very close to a number of beautiful beaches. Highly recommend:)

Perfect getaway out of the crowdy area

It was really nice to stay in Fernando’s house. Such a good host and the communication was fantastic. We were with 9 people to celebrate our 25 th wedding anniversary, we could not have picked out a better place than this. All the beaches in the area around the village( max 20 min drive) are so nice and beautiful. Always finding a sheltered place to go to. West coast within an hour drive. Nice beaches towards the east/west, nice cycling road/mtb. Within 20 min. Kiting and surfing. To much to mention. Stay here and your holiday would be a perfect match for relaxing and activity if you want that. Car needed.

Fantastisch huis voor meerdere gezinnen

Prachtig huis, perfect voor meerdere gezinnen (max 3), grote tuin met fantastisch zwembad. Van alle gemakken voorzien en perfect uitvalsbasis voor de omgeving. Veel binnen 15 minuten te bereiken.

Villa Charme doet zijn naam eer aan!

We waren met onze familie in de leeftijd van 85 tot 6 maanden. De ontvangst door Fernando was al direct zodanig dat we ons gelijk thuis voelden. We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Een heerlijk zwembad en van alle faciliteiten voorzien om de dag met elkaar door te brengen. Ook een prima uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te verkennen of naar attracties te gaan. We hebben met elkaar mooie herinneringen om op terug te kijken. Nogmaals bedankt Fernando!

We had a great holiday. The villa is ideal for a family group. We were 10 plus a baby. Everything was in good working order. The villa is within easy reach of a number of towns popular with holiday makers. There is a good supermarket five minutes away by car. The weather could not have been better. Gut – Besser – Villa Charme

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa Charme war rundum perfekt. Wir waren mit 11 Erwachsenen dort und haben eine wundervolle Unterkunft vorgefunden, die noch besser ist, als es die Fotos wiedergeben können. Das Haus hat alles, was das Herz begehrt und man fĂŒr eine erholsame Zeit benötigt – und sogar noch mehr. Pool, Fitnessstudio, Tischtennisplatte und diverse zur VerfĂŒgung stehende Spiel- und Sportmöglichkeiten sorgen fĂŒr eine Menge Spaß und Abwechslung. Unser Highlight war die neben dem Pool gelegene Chill-out-area mit SitzsĂ€cken und HĂ€ngematte sowie der große Außentisch, an dem wir alle Platz gefunden haben. Die KĂŒche ist ebenfalls sehr gut ausgestattet und lĂ€sst keine WĂŒnsche offen. Alle Zimmer waren gemĂŒtlich und sauber. Es stehen HandtĂŒcher, BettwĂ€sche und sogar BadehandtĂŒcher fĂŒr den Pool zur VerfĂŒgung. Einziges Manko, wenn man es ĂŒberhaupt so nennen möchte, sind die doch recht lauten TĂŒren und hellhörigen WĂ€nde im gesamten Haus, was uns jedoch nicht weiter gestört hat. Fernando ist ein perfekter und aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Er stand uns sowohl im Vorfeld als auch wĂ€hrend unseres Aufenthalts jederzeit zur VerfĂŒgung. Er ermöglichte uns sogar einen frĂŒhen Check-In, durch den wir einen ganzen Urlaubstag gewonnen haben. Wir können einen Aufenthalt in der Villa Charme ohne EinschrĂ€nkung empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

Amazing home

This place is amazing and Fernando the host is the icing on the cake. We had 2 families totaling 11 people and ghe kids ranged from 2 to 14yrs old. Everyone had a wonderful time with plenty to do inside and outside of the home. The kids loved the heated swimming pool and the soccer goals were used nonstop. There was plenty of space for both families and it had all the amenities you could need. We are so grateful that we found this 💎. Fernando is always available to answer questions and he is so gracious. He even brought us traditional Alentejo sweets at the end of our stay. Book this place today!!

Unbelievably Welcoming

I cannot say enough about Villa Charme and it's owner operator Fernando. The property is very welcoming, roomy, and well appointed. Fernando is the owner and operator of the property, and his hospitality is unmatched in any of my "for rent by owner" experiences. He was there to greet us, once to check on the pool (scheduled) and make sure everything was up to our expectations (which exceeded all), and then to bid us farewell. We had eleven people (five adults and six children ranging in ages 4-16) meet at Villa Charme from different parts of the world. The house was ample in space, we used the kitchen and bbq frequently to feed the group. The pool, trampoline, and games gave all adequate activities. When not at the house, there are many beaches, towns, restaurants, and excursions a few minutes drive from the property. We had a wonderful week stay at Villa Charme and the Algarve mostly due to Fernando and his unmatched hospitality, local knowledge and recommendations. You cannot go wrong with this choice; so glad we did. Muito obrigado Fernando!

Beautiful villa

We had a fantastic week in lovely VillaCharme. The property is perfect for a larger group with a great size pool and lots of amenities for kids, on site. The property owner was incredibly responsive, helpful and supportive both before and throughout our stay. I highly recommend VillaCharme.

Lovely traditional villa and superb for kids

We've just returned from a week at fernando's villa. There was 6 adults and 6 children. The outdoor area is perfect for the kids and it's all enclosed so you can relax knowing they can't go anywhere. Fernando is more than helpful and responded to any questions within 30 mins. We will certainly return.

Great villa and a great host

In the build up to our stay there was so much uncertainty over travel during the pandemic, whether we would be able to go, how long for and how quarantine rules at either border would affect our trip. During this period, Fernando was incredibly understanding and flexible, at significant risk and cost to himself. I can't speak highly enough about how responsive and fair he was in how he approached this and it was much appreciated. We ended up staying at the villa for 3 weeks and although we had booked for more travellers, there only ended up being 4 of us so we had lots of room! The villa is just as described and the pool and garden is a fantastic area to relax and enjoy your holiday. Villa is well stocked for everything you need and Fernando is clearly willing to help if there is anything you need. We had a great stay and would highly recommend the villa.

Todas as condiçÔes estĂŁo reunidas para desfrutar intensamente em famĂ­lia: piscina, barbecue, sala de mĂĄquina, grande e lindo jardim com balizas para jogos de futebol, uma rede de volley, trampolim e mesa de pingue-pongue! As praias ficam prĂłximas e os comĂ©rcios tambĂ©m. E acima de tudo, um anfitriĂŁo fora de sĂ©rie, muito simpĂĄtico e sempre disponĂ­vel para aconselhar e ajudar! We were a family of 12 (2 gradparents, 4 parents and 6 children). The house was amazing and exactly how it was described. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2week stay and are even thinking about returning here as it had everything that you needed and more. We had some lovely evening sat in the garden eating bbq food. Amazing Experience

Fernando, the owner of the house, had a warm welcome for us. Good explanation about the house, great tips about the area, a full fruit basket, wine and strawberries in the fridge! Awesome. Enthusiastic host who is ready for his guests! The house: We stayed here with 6 adults and 6 children. And that went fine. Nice rooms and bathrooms. Good full kitchen. good working air conditioning. Unfortunately in 1 bedroom there was no air conditioning. The whole house stands on a spacious plot with many play options for children. Lots of privacy. The swimming pool and garden are well maintained. Nice and cool water! Enough shade and opportunities for sunbathing. The outside BBQ is also doing well. In the evening the mosquitoes can keep you company, keep that in mind. Inside the house, with some discipline, you will not be bothered by mosquitoes! Enough parking places for 3 cars. The approach route is on a dangerous road. So pay attention! Bakery and supermarket nearby (with car). Several beautiful beaches and villages are easily accessible by car. All in all we had a fantastic holiday!

Great family week away

We had a fantastic time at this villa. Fernando was there to meet us, the villa is spacious with great sized rooms, games room and gym. We had small children so we didn’t need to use the extra bedroom. Great location, close to the beach and shops. Fernando was very accommodating and friendly but let us enjoy our holiday without disruption We had a great time and would recommend this villa for large groups Thank you Lauren

Only one word to describe this Villa - AMAZING. We were a group of 12 (6 Adults & 6 Children). The villa was perfect for every age group - sunbeds, bbq, pool, trampoline, football & volleyball posts. Many tranquil days spent by the pool in the south facing garden so the sun is on the sunbed area all day. There was also plenty of spots to sit in the shade if the sun gets a bit hot. We were welcomed with a wonderful basket of fruit, a bottle of wine, bread, butter, cheese, water. Fernando also recommended a boat trip to see the caves and a few restuarants, all of which were fantastic. Whilst you cannot really walk anywhere from the villa, there are plenty of supermarkets nearby and also a large retail park with shops such as Toys R Us, Sports Direct, Timberland etc. The nearest Continente supermarket is also on the retail park, however we used the nearby Aldi for supplies. Will definitely be returning

Optimale Unterbringung fĂŒr große Gruppen und Familien

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 9 Erwachsenen und einem 8 Monate alten Baby in der Villa Charme. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit zusammen. Die Villa liegt relativ in der Mitte der Algarve, dadruch sind alle Ziele relativ schnell zu erreichen. Bis zum Meer sind es etwa 10 Minuten mit dem Auto.Das Haus ist gut ausgestatt und biete alle Annehmlichkeiten fĂŒr einen schönen Urlaub.Das GrundstĂŒck ist umzĂ€unt und bietet viel Platz fĂŒr Kinder, aber auch Erwachsene. Es gibt die Möglichkeit Fußball, sowie Volleyball zu spielen oder sich am Pool zu erfrischen. Hier wĂ€re der erste kleine Minus Punkt unserer Seite. Leider ist der Pool nicht beheizt , wodurch er von uns nicht allzu oft verwendet wurde. Vermutlich ist das aber im Hochsommer kein Problem. Nichtsdestotrotz kann man den ganzen Tag auch draußen auf der Liege die Sonne genießen. Es gibt 3 Schlafzimmer mit jeweils einem Doppelbett und 1 Schlafzimmer mit jeweils 2 Einzelbetten und ein weiteres Schlafzimmer mit einem Einzelbett. Zur Not gibt es auch ein Hochbett im Tischtennis Zimmer, welches aber eher fĂŒr Kinder geeignet ist. Hier gab es seitens der Gruppe auch einige kleinere "Beschwerden". Die Matratzen könnten fĂŒr manche etwas hart sein, aber anstonsten muss ich sagen das wir eine sehr schöne Zeit in der Algarve, sowie in diesem Haus hatten. Fernando ist ein außerordentlich freundlicher Mensch, der gerne bereit ist zu helfen. Auch schon wĂ€hrend der Buchung sorgte er fĂŒr das Kinderreisebett, sowie den Kinderhochstuhl. Der Check-in lief reibungslos und ohne Komplikationen. Fernando gab uns einige Tipps darĂŒber, was wir uns ansehen können und auch welche Restaurants er empfehlen kann. Desweiteren zeigte sich seine Freundlichkeit auch darin, dass er uns den Weg persönlich zum nĂ€chsten Supermarkt zeigte, damit wir noch einige Lebensmittel einkaufen konnten.WĂ€hrend des Aufenthals fragte er immer wieder, ob alles in Ordnung sei und bei Anliegen sorgte er darfĂŒr.Fazit: Alles in allem ein schöner Urlaub mit einem freundlichen Vermieter, den wir gerne weiterempfehlen können.

Wunderbare Familienunterkunft und unzÀhligen Möglichkeiten

Wir waren mit der gesamten Familie (10 Personen, 3 Generationen) in dieser wunderbaren Villa und haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Das Haus bietet bei jedem Wetter vielfĂ€ltige Möglichkeiten fĂŒr Sport und Spiel, aber auch zum Kochen, Grillen und Schlemmen. Fernando hat stets gute Empfehlungen, sowohl was landestypische Restaurants, aber auch Einkaufs- und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten angeht. Wie in Portugal ĂŒblich, ist auch hier ein Mietwagen sehr zu empfehlen. Es gibt wunderbar und ganz unterschiedliche StrĂ€nde und andere bezaubernde Orte zu entdecken. Wer Lust zum Golfen oder oder zum Einkaufen hat, findet dafĂŒr vielfĂ€ltige und augezeichnete Möglichkeiten. Wir kommen sicher wieder und werden die Villa auch unseren Freunden empfehlen. Portuguese paradise!

Fernando is wonderfully helpful and friendly, and his property is absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect place for a family gathering - the children especially loved the trampoline, swings and pool. And we even made use of the gym! The kitchen is very well equipped (big fridge, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, loads of crockery etc) with plenty of space for meals inside (table seats 8) and outside (table seats 10 or more). There are 3 doubles (2 ensuite), a twin, an ensuite single (which converts to a small double, only bedroom without air-con, but has fan) and a sofa bed and bunk beds in the games room, so it's a great flexible space for large groups. Although it's not walking distance to any facilities it seems to be just 10-15 mins drive from everything you could want - hypermarket, restaurants, beaches, castle, waterpark - and less than 40 ins drive from Faro airport. Thank you, we'd love to stay again!
