You couldn't beat the location of this apartment. Everything else was nice and accurately reflected in the photos.

Great flat in excellent location
Flat had everything we wanted for a family stay. The flat was spotless and comfortable, and just off the main square in the old town, making the location excellent. The parking (arranged through the company and paid for separately) worked well and was close enough. Communication with and from the management company was faultless.

Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt nicht
Wir waren eine Woche in der Ferienwohnung im Kern der Altstadt von Sirmione. Die Lage ist toll und die Zusammenarbeit mit grifo parking inklusive Shuttle zur Wohnung ist angesichts der Enge in den Altstadtgassen auch sehr sinnvoll. Generell haben wir unseren Urlaub hier durchaus genossen, aber es gibt einige Punkte, die unbedingt verbessert werden sollten: Von den 9 Stühlen auf der unteren Terasse, waren 8 kaputt. Auf der oberen Terasse waren alle kaputt. Diese konnte man wegen fehlender Markise aber sowieso nicht nutzen. Die Küche war eher schlecht ausgestattet. Es gab genau 4 Gabeln. Schneidemesser waren gar nicht vorhanden. Töpfe und Pfannen mussten vor dem Gebrauch auf jeden Fall gereinigt werden. Leider hat uns keiner gesagt, dass es in der Wohnung kein deutsches TV gibt. W-Lan wurde zwar angepriesen, der Empfang und die Zuverlässigkeit des Signals waren jedoch unterirdisch. Es gibt viele schöne Lampen in der Wohnug, leider waren viele davon nicht eingesteckt oder schlichtweg ohne Glühbirne. Auf der Terasse gibt es gar kein Licht. Ins Schlafzimmer gelangt man über eine sehr enge und steile Wendeltreppe - Koffer hier hochschleppen war ein Kraftakt. Der Einstieg auf die linke Seite des Bettes gelingt nur, wenn man den Kopf einzieht oder sich eng an der sehr tief hängenden Kommode vorbeischlängelt. Nachts aufwachen war da ein Abenteuer. Die Matratzen des Betts waren weich und durchgelegen, man traf sich immer in der Kuhle in der Mitte. Das Sofa im Wohnzimmer kann wohl zum Schlafsofa umgeklappt werden, allerdings sitzt man dafür im normalen Zustand auf Eisenstangen, die durch das sehr dünne Polster drücken. Alles in allem kann man sagen, dass für den hohen Preis, der für die Wohnung aufgerufen wird, ein besserer Wohnkomfort geboten werden muss.

Nice dwelling in an unbearable location
The apartment is located at the top floors of building with a restaurant on the ground floor. The kitchen equipment and the air conditioning are perfect. The terraces offer scenic views of the Sirmione castle. The parking (for which you have to pay extra) is conveniently located some 5 minutes from the apartment, which is fine, given that the building is in the pedestrian zone. To make use of the kitchen, you have to drive to a supermarket, because there are no grocery stores in the vicinity. Downtown Sirmione may be a beautiful place, but hordes of tourists make it unbearable in August. Heaps of people roam through the main street just in front of the building at any time. The beaches are also densely packed. Noise and smells from the restaurants spoil the recreation. If you headed to the vacation in order to catch up on sleep after a busy and sleepless year, you will damn the musicians playing Italian and international pop hits at nights, sometimes until midnight. The vicinity of the restaurant downstairs was troubling also because we had to witness a disturbing scene on the stairs of our building with men connected to the restaurant angrily shouting and a woman screaming and howling. Presumably, some violence was taking place. The bed mattresses are wanting, but the worst was the internet connection, which constantly broke off making it impossible to use even the basic online services, not to mention videoconferencing, streaming movies or working with corporate cloud services.
