“A special place close to Yala that makes you feel like you’re in the park. Small staff was so friendly and lovely, and I felt well taken care of. Delicious meals—often candlelit and with an outdoor grill. Room was air conditioned and well appointed, despite the jungle setting. Only caution: there probably will be some wildlife in your bathroom! They also organized my safaris in the park, as well as pick ups and drop-offs, which I appreciated.”

“Vi bodde på jetwing i fyra nätter jättebra personal supergod och rent hotell. Rummen var jättefina och hotellpoolen fantastisk. Havet lite för vågigt att bada i, men härlig att gå längst. Perfekt ställe att bo på om man vill åka på safari eller bara koppla av. Fyra nätter var lite i överkant för hotellet ligger väldigt avsides och finns inte så mycket att göra.”

“Trevliga stugor i en skogsdunge där några har utsikt mot havet. Härlig pool med utsikt över vattenhål med vattenbufflar och krokodiler. Maten var bra och trevligt bemötande med personal som pratar bra enelska. Bra för en kortare vistelse och safari, men att stanna en hel vecka blir nog lite långtråkigt. “ Absolutely amazing hotel! The rooms are clean and big. A great pool and you are very close to Yala national park. However the chef Pradeep was absolutely the highlight of our stay. The food he served was also good. Since we are not from Sri Lanka he took the time to explain what he uses, and how they look. Het also gave great recommendations. “Absolutely beautiful property. Right on the beach with easy access. Hanuman langur monkeys were right outside the room. They were so cute! Room had poor lighting, but everything else was perfect! “First of all, when I went to 'Palugaha pilgrim resort' it was locked. Even the mobile was not reachable. I had booked this thro' Expedia. Fortunately the auto rickshaw driver was knowledgeable about the place so took us to a nearby place. This did not have any name but there was someone to entertain us.     "From the moment we arrived, the owners were so kind and helpful, even organising a full-day safari with an amazing guide where we spotted three leopards and so much more. The rooms were spotless, honestly the cleanest we saw in our whole month in Sri Lanka, and could easily match a high-end hotel in Europe or the US. The location is perfect, right next to the entrance to Yala National Park, so you get peace and nature all around. We even saw a chameleon in the garden! The food was the best of our trip, authentic Sri Lankan dishes, amazing hoppers, and the fluffiest pancakes for breakfast. Generous portions, cooked with care. If you get the chance to stay here, do it. You’ll leave with a full heart, a full stomach, and memories you won’t forget."
