“The he Victorian House was a delight to stay in, the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were delicious and the rooms were lovely. The property is on the edge of grasmere and is very conveniently located near shops, the bus stop and cafes etc. ”

“Had the most amazing stay at Elder Grove. The owners were super friendly and very service minded. The room was very tidy and clean and we enjoyed our breakfast every morning. Great location, calm and no traffic. Can't wait to visit again.”

“We had an excellent 3 nights at Lyndale’s guest house. The host Allison answered all our questions about the village of Ambleside. Breakfast was generous. She gave us a parking pass free of charge to a lot that’s about 2 minutes away by walking. 10 minutes away (walking) from the center. Would definitely recommend !”

“Lovely place to stay in Grasmere, the bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was super clean and looked completely brand new with some great toiletries. Just a super relaxing stay.”

“We went as a family of 4 and our stay was great. No problem at all except we got a bit cold at night, but that’s it! Everything else was great. We got free parking just up the road courtesy of the b&b management and breakfast was also included, which wasn’t mentioned on the initial booking. So bonuses all round really!”
