“Such a beautiful property and close to the Main Street restaurants. We loved our room and the bathroom was huge.
But what’s going on with the elevator? It was broken and from the reviews, it’s been out of order for a while. We had to shlep to the third floor with our suitcases.
But the staff couldn’t have been nicer! We’ll be back, hopefully they’ll have the elevator figured out by then.”
“One of the quotes from one of the historical posters at The Wentworth talks about it not being “the most luxurious,” but among the most welcoming, of the White Mountain inns of old. I would disagree - luxury isn’t just about high-thread-count sheets and butler service, true luxury is when an establishment shows that it truly cares about its guests and its legacy. And the Wentworth has those touches in abundance.
The art on the walls features local subjects and is largely by local artists....
