Restaurant/ bar food brilliant. Food good quality..cooked and presented really well. Staff very accommodating and friendly.”

“The hosts Phillip and Dee could not do enough for us, they were very friendly. The room was lovely and clean and refills of tea, coffee, biscuits etc provided outside the rooms for guests to help themselves to. The breakfasts we had were amazing, plenty of choice and beautifully cooked. There’s a bus to Whitby just near the house and many other places to visit nearby.”

“Was exactly what I needed, a place to stay for one night. Wasn't expecting ‘private bathroom’ to just be a sink in the room and a shared toilet but it was fine for one night.”

“Although it was an old building you could tell they have beem refurbished it. Everywhere was spotless and the staff were brilliant from start to finish. The room was a little small but had everything you need even a hairdryer. Would love to come back and I'm sure we shall. ”

“A busy Inn in the heart of Whitby. Pub downstairs where live music is played until 23:00 and nice newly renowated rooms upstairs. Not possible to have breakfast in the morning due to the pub not being open. Once the pub is closed there's no place to be except for your room, no lounge or so but a nice place to stay at.”

“Beautifully renovated cottage with comfortable bed and modern washroom. Conveniently located for exploring Guisborough and helpful guidebook with suggestions for the kids and adults. The grocery store is a 5-minute block away also. Andy was very helpful and easy to communicate with.”
