“I found this hotel to be an absolute supreme place, it is very cosy and has some incredible views. The service was also really great, always kind, as well as supportive in recommendations on where to go. Some services are closed or to overall people at the hotel, specifically the spa part, and should be prepared to spend a few pounds, though that point was pretty clear in their description. “This is possibly the most charming hotels and place I can remember staying. It’s an old building in a harsh Scottish environment and that is part of its charm. If you want pristine decoration it’s not for you. If you want excellent hospitality, fantastic staff and walls full of the owner’s original art, go. Walk the Crinan trail - the view from the viewpoint is one of the best on a clear day (it is a steep walk though). A genuine Scottish gem.”
