âRoom was clean and basic with good shower in the bathroom. Relatively small room with dated decor and could do with a refresh. functional and adequate if you just need a bed for the night. Adjoining pub is nice inside with outside terrace and local beer brewed onsight. Quick taxi or 15 minute walk from the centre of Ashby De La Zouch. Really nice engaging staffâ

âOrdinĂ€rt hotell med 70-80-tals kĂ€nsla, med olika nyanser av brunt. Lite slitet. Service ok, men inget mer. Ok utbud frukost. Ă t nĂ„gra mĂ„ltider i hotellets pubdel. Nudelwoken var mycket god. DĂ€remot var hamburgaren inte vĂ€rt priset. LördagkvĂ€ll nĂ€r jag och vĂ„rt sĂ€llskap Ă„t pĂ„ puben var det orimligt lĂ„nga vĂ€ntetider pĂ„ maten. Vi fick maten serverad till sĂ€llskapet med en timmes differens mellan det att den första fick sin mat och den sista fick sin mat. Jag fick vĂ€nta i 1,5 timme pĂ„ min mat utan...
âFantastic room. Clean and nice bed. The food was bad, really bad,Stayed for 2 days but both days the food was very tasteless. Breakfast was really bad. Outrageous that they charge for this.

âReally lovely staff and the check in experience was very pleasant. The room was just about acceptable in terms of cleanliness but the toilet was not clean and still had used paper in it. The room and the surroundings were very tired and beyond worn in some places, especially the carpet on the stairs which was very dirty. As there was no breakfast, we could not comment on it. Itâs such a shame because the setting is quite pleasant and it could be a lovely place to visit. â
âI know that there is limitations in service during COVID but this was ridiculous.
The breakfast service was very poor, the request for 2 toasts and 2 frieds eggs was not possible to meet from from Hotel.
On the other hand was the dinner service on the terrace very nice and good service.
