Great place to star

This property was a great place to stay! Owners were very helpful place is very secluded with alot of privacy and was very well maintained and very clean.

Kitchen was fully stocked, everything was clean. Have no complaints other than the fish wasn't biting (still was kinda cold though). Was there to visit our Son who is stationed there, very quick access to the base via the Sneed's Fairy gate just minutes away.

Had a great stay . My only complaint is that the deck by the water be redone because there’s a chance someone might get hurt but, other than that we had a pleasant time

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The cozy home had everything we needed and so much more. The location was great, private but not far from the beach. We were able to launch our kayaks and fish right from the private dock. So much fun.

Just What We Were Looking For

Love location on Bumps Creek, secluded natural environment for crabbing and kayaking and close to beautiful Topsail beaches. Home is simple, neat, organized and well-equipped. Owner super friendly, responsive and helpful.

The property was perfect. Its on the water with a dock and beautiful scene from the back porch. The home is well stocked and quite clean. I felt right at home! Thank you for letting us enjoy your place!

The cabin was spotlessly clean. Much better than staying at a hotel. We were in town for our Marine's graduation. We could all sit in the screened in porch or living room and relax and chat. The views from the dock were nice and you always saw something interesting. Lots of restaurants ten minutes away. There were four of us plus our Marine who lived five minutes away. We enjoyed our stay.

The only thing wrong with this property is my name is not on the mailbox everything is better than described ‼ Cynthiia is a fantastic host I will bet you a dollar if you forgot it at home she has it at her place.i will keep this place in my favorites and hope no one books it but me

What happens at the Lake.......stays at the Lake!

This place was wonderful!!! Very clean, kayaks and tubing was so fun and relaxing. The house had everything! From board games, diapers, hygiene products to breakfast, lunch and at least 1 dinner! Not much had to be bought. Only thing missing was a radio, just bring one. Other than that stunning!

We were allowed to check in a little early which was awesome. The home was very clean but old. We did have a lot of ants around the kitchen sink on the first morning. Air conditioner was not on when we arrived but the place cooled down pretty quickly. The pictures of the dock on the listing must be pretty old because so is the dock. It's warped and has lots of splinters and peeling paint. Overall we had a great time and my husband got the prize for biggest catch

A quiet, convenient home away from home

This was my second stay at this location. The best part is the kayaks (equipment good for 2 people), since you can kayak out straight into the sound to a beautiful little island. We were really touched by the note pointing out an osprey nest within view of the house! It's not far from groceries and the beach (well, a beach with paid parking). It's got all you need and we had no trouble getting in and out, even though we arrived late at night. Just follow the instructions to go down the right driveway and, if you go for a walk, walk toward the paved road. Clean and enjoyable overall, with easy communication if you need it.
